This 2 michelin star restaurant is situated about a 20 minute drive outside of Lyon. It is by far the best meal I have had to date. Highly recommended! Not for children though. Check out my food pornography and review at http://thegingerbreadarchitect.wordpress.com/

Very nice place, great service, and amazing food. A little expensive in my humble opinion but definitely worth a try.

If what you are looking for is Michelin Star restaurant- this must be some of the best value around. Situated just to the north of Lyon, it doesn't look like much from the outside. But step inside and everything else is worthy of its 2 Michelin stars. The restaurant is run by Mr. and Mrs. Lassausaie, and it shows. Absolute... More

I agree with the previous reviewer - great food but not two star. The service was a little too stuffy and the room were were in was quite chilly. My french is not perfect and the waiter was speaking so quietly at our table that i had to have my BF repeat everything he said. The food overall was good... More

We lunched here in early September; this was my second visit, the first having been ten years ago when the restaurant had one Michelin star and was significantly less contemporary cool in its decor. Sadly, whilst we had a wonderful lunch this time, I think I preferred the place with one-star pretensions. Naturally, the obligatory theatre of the starred restaurant... More

Perfect in every way. Amazing food, great service and good atmosphere. We both had the degustation and my 5yo snacked off our courses (she was partial to the fish but avoided the roe and loved the deserts).

Had a 115 Euro 'menu decouverte' and found it plenty and tastfull. I expected maybe to much to discover and found much classic tasting meals, altough al presented well. I did like the service, altough it seemed a bit rushed at the start of things. We got a pre-dessert wich were sweet tasting things like macorons and found this to... More

Had the 6 course tasting menu and left very full. The service is good, but expected a little more from a relais & chateaux level restaurant. The food is very good. Nothing that I tasted would be considered ground breaking or inventive, but solid and full of flavor. The staff was a little pushy with wine, but that could just... More

It is hard to achieve 2 Michelin stars and it is even harder to be Maitre de France. The Owners couple definitely deserves to harvest on their hard work no doubt. The trouble with 2 stars Michelin is that the air becomes thin and the expectations are high. I have eaten in many 2 and even 3 star restaurants -... More

The reviews of this 2 Michelin star restaurant are spot on - the food is amazing! The restaurant is quite far out of town and does cost around 60 euro each way in a taxi. We chose the 88 euro 6 course degustation option. One of our group does not eat seafood and the staff were very accommodating. Each of... More
