I have eaten several times, back in 2011 and 2010, which were pretty good foods, excellent service. I booked a table way in advanced via their main website, but the table was never reserved, lost or didn't receive. I showed my confirmation and they were clueless of what happened. however, recently back October 2014, things were not the same. the... More

To be fair, I didnt eat the food here. We came with 8 people, it wasnt crowded, and we had to wait 25 minutes and they didnt even come to take our drink order! We told them specifically several times that we were ready to order and were ignored. I wouldnt come back and probably wouldnt go to the other... More

Very famous Thai restaurant with delicious food. Blue Elephant Restaurant (and cooking school) is originally based in Bangkok and has a few subsidiaries around the world. One is in the Hilton in Lyon. Had dinner there with my family last month and we really like it. It is authentic, great Thai Food.

Whilst I don't usually visit France for the Thai food, this is actually really good and I would definitely recommend it

We use to love this place, but since two years, despite a great welcoming service, the food went down constantly. This week the bottom has been reached : an overcooked salmon with a few brocoli looked and tasted more like at school cafeteria 30 years ago. No problem for having stiff legs as we had to go twice to get... More

Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Not the usual Thai menu - somewhat adjusted to the local taste. Generally worth a visit.

Blue elephant is an international chains of Thai food. Server is friend, however, i recommend that they hire more staff as we waited a long time for everything. It is even slower then the average service. We did have plenty of time for dinner and have seen the restaurant filled up. There are customers whom sat down and left because... More

If you like Thai food and you're in the Lyon area, this is clearly the place to go. However, I do have just a couple of downsides. They kind of listen to the order. I asked for no mushrooms and got extra mushrooms. I told them I was vegan and the first dish had chicken. But once all this was... More

We were a little tired from travel, and there is this restaurant right in our hotel, the Lyon Hilton. We love Thai food so what the heck... We were in for a real treat. Excellent service and a large menu. We would have gone three nights in a row but they are closed on Sunday. On Saturday we shared three... More
