Wouldn't go back

We went with a local friend who recommended it to try traditional food. The menu is pig-meat heavy, lots of offal and sausage. At the end, they made a mistake on the bill with our wine and didn't trust us when we pointed it out.

The server is very friendly and helpful, and recommended food which all taste fantastic. A 3 course lunch costs about €25 with a glass of wine. Very heavy on the meat, plenty of pork and beef dishes which are cooked very well indeed. I'm not a big fan of meat, but the pork salad was so good. Crunchy and crisp!... More

With only time for one lunch in Lyon, we decided that we'd have to go to Rue des Marronniers since there are so many good buchon options to choose from. After (literally) reviewing every restaurant's menu, we chose Aux Trois Cochons and weren't at all sorry that we did. We ate inside and the restaurant was busy, noisy, and crowded--exactly... More

We came across Rue Des Marronniers by chance. It is FULL of restaurants with outdoor seating spilling onto the pedestrianized street. We are so glad we chose this one. Excellent service and delicious food. I had warm gingerbread with Foie Gras and an onion chutney. My hubby had boudin noir with apple. Mmmmmmm... You must take a look inside, too.... More

Go regularly in that restaurant, food is always good. Don't expect gastronomic but it's a good value and choice for lyonnaise food. Service was a bit rush but I suppose they were busy. Nice in the summer as tables are in the street without cars. Open 7/7.

I thought the food was delicious, and the service superb. I had the goat cheese salad and the spicy sausage. I was with friends who also enjoyed their meals. It's a lot of food. The menu is traditional.

Absolutely terrible. We visited during the Fete des Lumieres and they obviously have a very poor attitude, taking the michael out of visitors. What a shame. The serbvice was terrible, the food was disgusting, the wine was appalling. I was visiting with French people who were incredibly embarrassed. If this bouchon has earned its name, it must have done so... More

Literally from nose to tail and everything in between. If you don't like pork, forget it! Personally I don't share the love of pig's nose, ears, feet, entrails & other parts others from my group truly loved. However, the rosetta lyonnais (local salami) and other delicious smallgoods was fantastic and you can always choose, as I did, to have an... More

The place is nice and authentic. The food was ok but nothing special althought I really like entrails. Wine not good for the price paid. The staff was not really friendly.
