The best of the best

This is an elegant French restaurant with a Japanese chef. The blending of French and Japanese cuisines produced what is perhaps the best meal of my life. One course was a multi-layered salad with thin sliced, sashimi-like, salmon. Unbelievable. The place only seats 14 people and is a 6 or... read more

Very good meal, desert was amazing, despite me suffering a bad cold at the time. Meal took approx 3 hours, several courses from set menu. Only miss step was a Guinness and ice cream conction before desert, the Guinness overwhelmed all the other flavors. Presentation was top notch, though some of the dish explanations where a bit too brief

It is hard to book this restaurant. We were on the waiting list for a month. Finally when the restaurant called us and told us there was a cancellation and we could have a table there. We were so excited. What can I say? This is about all the excitement we had. The food is really just so so. In... More

Situated in old town this tiny restaurant seats only 14 guests. Everything was absolutely perfect, the intimate decor with Japanese inspired theme, through to the professional quietly reserved but attentive service. The chef designs a very unique menu focusing on the seasonal produce at 85 euros per person (8 courses + appetizer) which was generous and exceptional quality. Presentation was... More

This is the place where to have dinner in Lyon. You will hit Lyon for food. Great bistros and vibe. But for really nice gourmet at evening a must!

You know how you enter a restaurant and your first impression is "l don't know about this place"? That's what our group of six felt Food... well presented but nothing out of the ordinary in taste Service....... good but lack of enthusiasm and little communication on what you were eating and drinking also we were charged for what we thought... This was a great dinner in a lovely setting with excellent service. The presentations were beautiful and we enjoyed the wine pairings.

we went to this restaurant because I was told there was no way that I would get a reservation so the challenge was set. i managed to get a booking. this small, intimate, restaurant offers a menu of 8 courses at a set price, to which there is no written menu so each course is a surprise, and served with... Restaurant seats only 14. A cozy, intimate vibe yet not snobbish at all They have only one menu, which changes seasonally For 85€ for dinner, this was a home run. There are 8 principal courses with the starters and the Lyon sweets in addition. Flavors were principally french with just a hint of Japanese Each course was delicious and presented... More

This is a great restaurant if you are a gourmand. But be aware that to enjoy this restaurant you need to be willing to need all of the typical French delicacy is like escargot and fois gras. There are no chicken dishes on this tasting menu.
