A great little restaurant in the old city. It has a traditional menu that includes 4 courses and wine.
It is a typical bouchon (traditional roman-gallic cuisine) in the old town. The service was friendly, the waiter and the manager spoke some English. The starters (tarte tatin and cervelle de canuts - both Lyonaise authentic dishes) were great. The main course (duck and steak) were a bit too chewy. The location allows for a pleasant walk in the evening.
If you are looking for a pleasant place to eat with some friends in Lyon, stop at this wonderful Bouchon. Okay, it was hard to chose a meal from the French only menu when your French is not up to standard, but the staff was very helpful and friendly and helped us out. The food and wine was excellent and... More
We were turned away the first time calling on the phone. We are completely full, the response. So we went next door and got an wonderful dinning experience. Pleasant and small bouchon in Vieux Lyon. The food was abundant and very good. Nice and fast staff.
The restaurant offers a typical french cuisine. The quality of the food was good and they used clearly fresh vegetables from the market. The wine list is well equipped and beside a good french selection also lots of italian and international wines are available. The staff is attentive and friendly whereas only one waiter spoke english in an understandeable way.... More
