While my 4 days stay in Lyon I had some business launches/dinners in different restaurants. My favorite was Le Musse with no doubt... Amazing atmosphere and really great food. I loved the owner who was super friendly and helpful! I would love to come back again some time in the future!!

Wow what a thrill! The traditional Lyon food, the cozy atmosphere, the owner, all this contributes to a unique experience. The food is simply delicious, cooked with care and panache. I bet I would love every item on the menu! The atmosphere is great as long as you don't mind being very close to your dining neighbor. This is not... More

We went to Le Musee for lunch and it was a wonderful experience. The owner was friendly and took his time to interact with every guest. (The restaurant only seats about 45 people.) We watched as the owner took young children one at a time to the kitchen for a look around or to the bar area where he gave... More

If you are interested in a unique evening and a local experience, then this is your place. The place is small and the tables are very close together. There is no printed menu. The (charming) owner goes from table to table explaining what they offer and taking orders. The food was excellent and we met some nice folks over the... More

A small and cosy venue, the patron meets you and seats you. The menu is carefully explained and offers a real choice of traditional lyonnaise cuisine. The portions are generous, as is the patron, giving us samples of other items on the menu during the meal and a glass of marc to finish off. Altogether a lovely evening at a... More

This isn't fancy, you are all seated together in a fairly confined space but it feels cosy and it is very friendly. We were the only non-French couple there, arrived early to bag the last 2 seats and were looked after famously by the owner. He guided my husband and I through the menu and helped us select one or... I went to this restaurant purely because the reveiws on Tripadvisor were so good, and I must say this was the best restuarant we dined out in Lyon (which was even harder as Lyonnaise restaurants set the bar very high!) The service is fantastic! The chef, Luc, came out to tell us about the menu and explained in his limited... More

Le Musee is not just a meal but a dining experience. The highlight of our stay in Lyon so far. Luc, the proprietor "is the restaurant" supported by authentic lyonnaise cuisine. The menu is written on a note pad which Luc personally reads to you - if your French is lacking, as ours was, the reading is supported by creative... More

It was fun to watch the owner and his staff at work, obviously enjoying themselves. The place is small but humming and the staff is hopping. Their English is limited but no so much that they can't warn you that the tripe is probably going to be too strong for you. (I had quinelle instead and it was excellent.) The... More

The boss & his crew really made me feel at home even though their English was not good. In fact, the boss took our orders & explained to us. The mushroom salad, pike, foie gras & pork & chicken stew in wine was simply delicious. It was very reasonably priced. Definitely a Bouchon, one class above the rest!!!
