If I could give it 6 stars ......

Superb, fantastic. We ate here on our 6th night and this was by far the best. There were 4 of us and we each had a different starter, main and dessert. None of us were disappointed but we did stay away from the more typical Lyonnaise Bouchon "delicacies". There was no menu, the atmosphere... read more

Having been on the food trail for 2 weeks, Le Musee gave us something different to experience in le bouchon cuisine. Warm and comforting, it was back to basics and deliciously so!

We went on spec from TripAdvisor and found this bouchon to be everything Lyon is proud of. We were made very welcome. The chef spent time with all guests to determine menus specific to each person. All the food was traditional but with a touch of "home". There were extras - a little Eau de Vie to finish the meal,... More

Probably the best food I had on my trip to Lyon and Marseille and at a very reasonable price. The owner was extremely friendly and it was nice to see him take such a pride in his work.

This is our second visit to this wonderful little bouchon in the centre of Lyon and once again the food was excellent. There is such a jovial atmosphere in the restaurant which is always espxtremely busy. The friendly owner visits your table with the choices hand written on a piece of paper and sits down and goes through what is... More

My friend and I choose to eat here after leaving a wine bar close by. We didn't have reservations but they squeezed us in anyways (I suggest making one, you'll be glad you did!). The owner (I assume) came to our table and went through the menu with us, he did his best to speak English so we could understand... More

If you want to experience a real bouchon lyonnais and avoid some of the tourist trap ones you can find in the old town, go to le Musee... as soon as we arrived, we were seated next to a group of 5 local gentlemen and before we knew it, we started chatting with them and sampling their wine... They told... More

I went with family and friends and we were seated outside in a warm June evening with other people at first I didn't like this but it added to the atmosphere as the night went on and the wine flowed. Food was very good and simple Lyon cuisine, I had the quenelle which was excellent and the wine was quite... More

We were a group of 12 friends visiting Lyon for the weekend and to watch the Rugby!! I was in charge of finding a typical Lyonnaise Bouchon and I think I did!. I spent many hours searching and Le Musee seemed to tick all the boxes. Not at all touristy, local French eating there, great food and wine, lovely ambience,... More
