Went here during my stay in Lyon and I did not regret it at all! You sit on a long table and only choose the main course. The starter you are presented with bowls that are passed around and you can stuff your plate with as little or as much as you like. I am not 100% sure what I... More

I went here following a recommendation from the staff at the Hotel Okko and was not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful even though it is a very busy restaurant! You can try a real bouchon meal with the fixed price option (4 courses for 29 euro). The starter is a range of salads and cold meats (yes... More

Chez Chabert is a small bouchon located near the city center with typical French cuisine. Food is served in multiple courses as are most French meals. The menu de cuisine usually has a starter of 8 different salads. For the main course there was a choice of either beef, fish or pork. Next course was a cheese plate followed by... More

This was our first night in Lyon and our first opportunity to try one of its famed bouchons. We were the first to arrive, hungry and not wanting to wait for our original reservation. This was , as usual , the right thing to do as we had the place to our selves for a while and the full attention... More

Our dinner in this restaurant was fixed by our seminar's organizers. And we really enjoyed it! Here we tasted original tastes of Lyon, along with good company and good wine. The service was good, not slow at all. I would definitely visit it again!

Very cool atmosphère ... Very cool waiter ... But slow and the food was just OK. The white bowl concept is creative but inefficient from a pure operational point if view . But frankly cool address in Lyon

We found this place on the Lyonresto website during our one day trip to the city and as it had received good reviews we headed along to try it out. Plenty of people were inside, usually a good sign, and the big white bowls filled with colourful goodies that sat on the occupied tables were intriguing. The busy, busy, busy... More

We were recommend to try the restaurant from our French friends and were not disappointed. The food was an experience coming from Australia! A set menu with wonderful starters all served in large bowls for you to help yourself, a choice of main and I was able to get something other than meat! Whilst my husband had a great variety... This was a traditional French restaurant and the place was busy and slightly cramped when we went on a Friday evening. The meal we had involved a wide range of starters including lentils, beans, very fishy fish, pig's skin, pig's feet, sausage, beet, etc; big helpings that were served in large vessels. The main course options too were very traditional.... More
