Nice for a lunch in open air

Very well situated where there is a little square across the road with seating too. White table cloths and well dressed servants. 2 courses for 18,5 euros is OK - you must add 6,50 euros for a dessert. THe beef carpaccio starter was fine, the beef main was not good! My wifes trout was fine - and... read more

It was the last day of our holiday and we arrived in Lyon old town from the train station. We wanted to chill with a drink, a meal and some jazz before taking a late tram to the airport. We'd learned earlier in the week that the pub/restaurant Le Cintra has regular jazz gigs, so we went there early, hoping... More

We enjoyed a nice dinner with a bottle of wine and dessert. Price was reasonable. Food was excellent, nice ambiance. Out door sitting. Crowded. The street is quite and even though not in the center of The action, close enough to see people around. Highly recommended!!!

It's definitely one of the most beautiful restaurants I've seen, very impressive...the decorations...the christmas tree, the paintings...Romantic, cosy and luxurious! There is not a lot of choice for the menu, but it's very nicely arranged....a good taste and more than enough to leave 100 % satisfied. No piano concert for the upcoming weeks. Ans still...it was just PERFECT

Took the Valentines menu here... Eur 49 for the set menu and live jazz music. Restaurant was full, ambiance pleasant and service professional and attentive. We enjoyed it and would return to try their normal a la carte menu. Location is nice, next to La Bourse.

Le Cintra is a fine dining restaurant. Established in 1921, it is meant to be one of the oldest restaurants in Lyon. We thoroughly enjoyed our entrees, with the fresh and plump scallops and the oeuf cocotte being the highlights for me. The mains were a bit more varied. My husband and I found the mushroom side to the fish... More

It has a great hedge lined square to eat in with lanterns hanging from the trees. The food is very tasty, fresh and very well presented. No English but worth making the effort as I ended up with squid by mistake for my main which I don’t normally like but this was very nice indeed. It’s a nice place to... More
