Very tasty food, friendly service

The chateau-briande with morels was delicious as was the truffle ravioli. Despite the place being small, since we were early they squeezed us in without a booking. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Had a really nice beef carpaccio, good steak, and above average wine for a reasonable price.

Went there with colleagues for a dinner. The restaurant itself was pretty little but cozy. Nice people and a nice setting. I just had a Chateaubriand (medium-rare). One of the best I've had in ages! I should definitely go back to have another one when in the neighborhood. The desserts are a most order as well. Can't go wrong in... More

We were stumbling around Lyon centre hoping for a good feed with minimal stress. Considering the horrific gastronomic and cultural nightmare Lyon has been, we were really after something honest, good and relaxed. So, stumble stumble stumble, we decided to try our luck at le petit carron. Asked for a table and as luck would have it, they had tables... More

This is a lovely little place situated very near the main city centre in Lyon, serving wonderful regional food. It is busy with local people so booking is best, but I cannot praise it enough. The staff are attentive and they even have the menu in English for those with poor language skills. You won't be disappointed by your visit.... More

I'm sure restaurants don't like bad reviews, but diners don't like to write bad reviews, either. For the diner this means a disappointing evening, a bad experience because of bad food or bad service. In our case, it was both. We arrived a few minutes before our 8 PM reservation to a very brusque greeting. The 30 euro menu is... More

Thanks to tripadvisor we had a wonderful evening/dinner again. We booked this restaurant 30' in advance, which is a must as the place is totally sold our every evening. Many local people populated the resto, always a good sign for quality. Tip: If you like chocolate, the "redoutable" is amazing!

Is is a neighbourhood place that is very family friendly. We were impressed by the ratings but quite disapointed by the food and decor. At 22 and 29 euros, the menu is inexpensive, but several of the dishes were clearly not made in the kitchen and there is really no excuse for serving frozen tasteless vegetables in a place like... This is a very pretty small restaurant with excellent food. It is right around the corner from the Garibaldi Metro stop, and is a part of Lyon not often frequented by tourists. They have a relatively inexpensive fixed menu, several more expensive fixed menus, and an extensive list of things you can pick from the a la carte menu. The... More
