Another good meal

The atmosphere is great and the food is generally very good at L'Epicurien. The service has improved, although still is not the greatest. I would give this restaurant a four if the service was as good as the cuisine. But it is not. I really don't like a restaurant that seats you and forgets you. Give us a bit of wine and an appetizer or something if you're busy, don't just leave us sitting. The food here is quite good. Ravioli, fish, steak,... More

Perfect place for chilling and enjoying fine food un Grenoble. One advice, book few days ahead to make sure you get the best spots. You can check prices and menus on their website. Tip: Grenoble's tap water is one of the best you can get on France; so you just need to order a bottle / glass of wine /... More

I went three times there and overtime la carte was different, since it changes with the seasons. Of my three visits, I think I preferred the first winter-hemed one, with a wild board to die for. The choice of wine is very large and intimidating: they give you an iPad and you can browse dozens (if not a hundred) different... More

I went here with 3 friends and it was just amazing. Between us we ordered the magret de canard, côté de boeuf and the hamburger. Each was super delicious and perfectly done. The desserts were amazing, too. My only qualm was with the service. Although it was friendly and polite, it could have been more helpful. We didn't know what... More

I love this restaurant. I love it for the food, the class of service, the fact that it's located in the heart of old Grenoble right at the market square of Place aux Herbes. The interior was wonderfully redone several years back with very good taste. The food is wonderful - it doesn't matter what you choose. The wine selection... More

We came as a part of a group tour, dining in a private room upstairs. Food and wine were fantastic, service was quite quick and English was not a problem. We would happily come back here

Cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant. I had the meal of the day for 29 Euros. The starter was Caesar salad with duck, followed by pork in a thyme sauce.potatoes cooked in cream with garlic and cheese. This was followed by a chocolate sphere filled with Mascarpone cream and raspberries. The service was excellent and the waiters attentive eg... More

Just enjoyed a really memorable meal at L'Epicurien. We had the €29 3 course menu with a wide range of starters, mains and desserts. Every morsel of food was delicious; the service was first class from start to finish. Grenoble was 'rammed' with every restaurant busy but all the staff seemed to have time to provide excellent, personalised service. We... More
