This restaurant is a bit above the average price range, but it´s definitely worth it. There is something for every taste on the menu. Presentation of the food is very appealing, and so is the taste. The deserts are the weak part of the menu; almost looks like store bought. The service is a bit slow and could be friendlier.... More

We had a very good experience at L'Epicurien. The meat was especially nice and tender (we had beef and duck). They serve good wine too at a reasonable price. The service was friendly. We enjoyed it very much.

Sitting out on a summer evening is a great idea, if the Mistral wind isn't howling and you are late enough for the sun to have set below the mountains enabling the shade blinds to be rolled back. For this reason, its best to make sure you request an outside table, with an indoor option. Fortunately, they are accommodating and... More

We were part of a large group for dinner. The staff was very accommodating and improved the experience by assigning a waiter that spoke very good English. The lamb was the best I've had and all members of our party seemed to enjoy their meals. Definitely a must excellent French cuisine.

We were close to 20 persons closing a meeting with dinner. We had to be split in two for seating. Food was generally good (my duck very good), and people were enjoying themselves in the somewhat busy atmosphere.

This was an acceptable, if rather expensive meal, but aspects of the service attached definitely leave a lot to be desired. The head waiter plus one other is from Eastern Europe and while he speaks very good French, the pair of them clearly had difficulty understanding people's orders and the ladies at the table next to us were asked on... In the beating heart of grenoble, above average food at above average prices, but you can eat it outside in the historical place aux herbes. Of much more limited interest in winter but still a cosy atmosphere

I passed by looking for a good place in town. The menu looked goo , but pricer than some of the other restaurants in town. I was torn between the beef fillet and the veal. The waiter recommended the veal. I was surprised when the order came in less than 10 minutes. when I bit into the veal it was... More

A must place to eat in Grenoble, France. Good menu selections and the daily special, Plat d'journor is always a treat. The staff was very helpful and friendly for non-French speaking guest.

The restaurant offers good food and there are many choices on the menu. Ideal for small groups but it is wise to make a reservation.
