amazing menu

We chose the "Menu Echappée Belle" and as it says "Le Chef vous propose une balade en 8 temps soit 8 créations, de la mise en bouche au dessert, qu'il choisira pour vous faire découvrir sa cuisine." So we were prepared for an experience, we knew that 'wild' or 'natural' herbs, flowers and flavours would feature highly. As the menu... More

We dined as a table of 14 in a private room just off the entrance hall. We had a tasting menu which was interesting, well presented and delicious. Our choice was that of the main course. I had beef en crout, a twist on the British classic with brioche crust - very well executed. Some others had monk fish served... More

My eldest daughter (29 years) treated our whole family of 6 to a surprise dinner for my birthday celebration in early september, here in our home town of Grenoble. She made sure to pick the finest restaurant, flew from London for the occasion and it was all a huge surprise. What a major TREAT. We loved our gastronomic evening. Each... More

What a setting - a lovely garden sitting under the plane trees. Ordered the strawberry appertif of the house, very good. Went for the 30 Euro three course luncheon. Appetizer was the weakest of the courses. I am not a fan of foam and the apricot chutney with nuts was sitting in a smoked foam. All good except the foam!... More

The food is really good, with plenty of titillating twists. It's rather innovative yet based on local mountain products and herbs (mostly). The service is attentive and fast. The setting and atmosphere are really special. The inside room is decorated with natural cues to the mountains surrounding the city, and the garden is a wonderful place to be when the... More

We were there while visiting a friend in Grenoble. We took their degustation menu; all dishes were regular, service was attentive. Although it looks it is likely one of the best restaurants in town, it can not be compared to any gourmet restaurant in Paris or Provence.

We had lunch in the garden..just beautiful..the service was impecible, food great, ambiance - you didn't know you were in the city center..there is a school right next door so we could hear the kids yelling while they... We got a great diner, nearly everything was perfect, food is excellent, service is correct, we think is probably the best place to have diner in Grenoble, just a little bit to expensive. It is hard to find and only a few people could help us to find it.

We've eaten here twice-- once for dinner, once in their adjoining locale for lunch. Both times all supporting elements were great (starters, side dishes, desserts), but the main course meats were very poorly prepared. Once we were served very dry turkey, the other time it was tough, overcooked beef. I really wanted to like it--so many of the elements are... More
