Their food was good, service was fast, and their outdoor seating is right on the square (Place Saint Andre) where they show summer open air movies (at least for a week in the beginning of France). If you want an outside seat on busy days (like ones with a movie), call ahead for a reservation. The food is great -... More

Plat du jour was fish and saffron rice with roasted vegetables for $10.00 and Salad du jour same price was lovely greens, lightly dressed with large soft egg and bits of ham. With cafe at lait and cafe grand $24 for wonderful ambience and pleasant meal.

Went there for dinner with friends. The food was OK, traditionnal, but some plates were not warm enough. The problem was the service : the waitress was not polite and not willing to help. We did not get the "pain de seigle" that was included in the course or the wine we were asking for, we had to clean up... More

I came here for dinner. Old style decor and tables, staff with attitude and an old style brasserie menu. I had a chicken liver salad and enoyed it thouroughly.

What a great find! This was an excellent choice for lunch on Saturday. I decided to be a little different and have 12 snails for starter and the range of seafood was excellent and I had oysters for main course. Everyone else enjoyed the meal as well and I would go back again for sure.

This landmark restaurant gets by on its value as a tourist stop, being the 2nd oldest cafe in France (according to the history on the placemats). Unfortunately, the staff is not of the same quality as the 250 (about) year-old building. On our recent visit there for Sunday lunch, We found the young waitress, with her hair long and flying...
