correct food, terrible service

Went there for dinner with friends. The food was OK, traditionnal, but some plates were not warm enough. The problem was the service : the waitress was not polite and not willing to help. We did not get the "pain de seigle" that was included in the course or the wine we were asking for, we had to... read more

I came here for dinner. Old style decor and tables, staff with attitude and an old style brasserie menu. I had a chicken liver salad and enoyed it thouroughly.

What a great find! This was an excellent choice for lunch on Saturday. I decided to be a little different and have 12 snails for starter and the range of seafood was excellent and I had oysters for main course. Everyone else enjoyed the meal as well and I would go back again for sure.

This landmark restaurant gets by on its value as a tourist stop, being the 2nd oldest cafe in France (according to the history on the placemats). Unfortunately, the staff is not of the same quality as the 250 (about) year-old building. On our recent visit there for Sunday lunch, We found the young waitress, with her hair long and flying... This was my second visit and due to the weather we sat side towards the rear of the restaurant which does not provide the best ambiance. the menus is quite varied and I started with the snails which were excellent, followed by steak tartare cognac. It was very tasty but I struggled with the amount as it came with a... More

We have been three people at the Cafe de la table rond. It is an average restaurant. Food is fine, place is a bit tight. Personnel is in principle helpful. However, the toilettes are not acceptable, a bit dirty and common for men and women. In general quality to value is on the average.

A leisurely Sunday lunch with friends , this restaurant has a lovely ambiance. We all chose the 20 euro menu. The food was simple but good, portions were more than adequate. Tarte aux Noix was one of the best we have tasted. Pleasant service, we will come back
