This was my fourth visit and, once again, I was impressed. Lunch was reasonably priced and very tasty. I wasn't sure what braised beef cheek would be like but on past experience we were ready to give it a try. It proved to be incredibly tender and full of flavour. The service was prompt and friendly. We haven't tried this restaurant... More

We arrived at 19:00 and from the outdoor seating you could catch a glimpse of the sunset. We had the fera and the duck from the menu. They were delicious. We also had a starter and a desert that were very very good. The service was faultless and the waiter spoke very good english.

Me and my husband were very happy with the dinner we had in La Fourchete de l'eglise. I had magret de canard with polenta and carrots and it was delicious. My husband had filet de fera and this was also wonderful. The zucchini& mozzarela & almond milk salad we had as a starter was very tasty. I would say co... More

My husband and I have been traveling in Europe for the last 3 weeks and the meal we had at La Fourchette de l'Eglise was, by far, the best we have had yet! We stopped by the restaurant earlier in the afternoon to look at the menu, and the chef took time from his dinner preparations to interpret the menu... More

Friendly people and amazing food. Run by two young men, with excellent English and great sense of humor. The food is extraordinary. Don't miss this place if you are in town.

Visited Evian and visited this restaurant, we were asked if we had booked, we had not. But a table had nearly finished. We waited about a couple of minutes and were shown to our table. Only one menu, we had fish terrine, which was very nice, chicken and mushroon main meal and fresh fruit salad. Two glasses of red house... More

Have just returned from dinner, made reservation based on Trip Advisor suggestions, but on a Tuesday evening in October the restaurant was not overly busy. Menu was small but perfectly formed, our dishes were all quite simple but beautifully cooked and presented. The waiter was friendly and attentive, genuinely interested in our comments. Prices were very reasonable. All in all,... More

We stopped by to have dinner. The waiter said that they were fully booked and there is absolutely no way for us to wait. Two tables were unoccupied, with one even not covered. We were almost pushed out of the door by him. Le non de restaurant doit être changer : pas la fourchette de l'eglise but la fourchette [---]!

This restaurant truly deserves its high ratings. The young chef is visible often during the dining experience, visiting the guests at the tables and discussing the dishes. He speaks good English. We had an appetizer of local crayfish (craw fish) served in a two part glass bowl with crayfish in the top bowl and a salad of apples and tomatoes... More
