I visited this restaurant to dine solo on a business trip. Most of the menu was not to my liking but I ended up ordering a 3 course set menu. The service was great. Until I realised everyone around me was offered a complimentary aperatief. I wasn't. Soup was delicious. Asparagus. Main of chicken was pretty bland. Nothing special. Dessert... More

We stayed at le Verniaz and it was lovely. We chose to eat at the restaurant there. Big mistake. Large venue with only a handful of tables occupied. Should have been our first clue. I ordered the poulet du bresse. When our courses arrived, it looked like a used condom on the outside. I cut into it it and it... More

I will not return to eat there. Too expensive for what you eat. Good but not worth the price!

Very good wine cellar at reasonable prices. Very good fresh food. Service very good but a little stiff. Atmosphere excellent but a little pricey.

Go back 30 years in time and enjoy real typical french food and service. A lovely terrace in the summer and a cosy dinning room in the winter. Not to be missed if you are in Evian. The wine list is rather impressive too. Good value for money even if it's not cheap.

Nice hotel and good location. But, two nights running we experienced poor service and food that was not to the standard you would expect of a Relais et Chateau. We did raise this with the restaurant general manager, but did not receive a reasonable explanation. Better to vote with your feet - if you stay there eat elsewhere!

Rack of lamb cooked on a spit in front of the fire! With a fantastic wine list and incredible prices and a selection of cheeses that would make anyone's mouth water

This restaurant brings you back to the old-English times. With the fireplace used for preparing chicken and roast beef you'll find yourself in a pleasant restaurant. I had the Bollinger champagne that was surprisingly cheap!

Pleasant ambiance and an agreeable location, but very, very ordinary food, and service which verged between amateur and disinterested. Our waiter had clearly left the premises long before we finished our meal and his replacement (assuming there was one) was hardly in evidence. at over €100 per head all in, they need to raise their game - a lot!
