Walked up to 1550, as no snow to ski. Found this delightful restaurant for lunch. Delicious French salads, wholesome soups for big appetites and fabulous dish of the day. Washed down with a chilled bottle of the local vin - a luscious lunch indeed!

An excellent way to spend an evening of Savoyarde indulgence tailored for all wallets (from the house red to the Chateau Petrus at megabucks) A stay in Courchevel would not be complete without dinner at the Caveau.

We had a great traditional meal here, fondue and raclette. Everything was exactly as you would expect from a mountain restaurant.

Ate twice at Le Caveau although on the second occasion it had been booked for us by our chalet hosts. On the first occasion 12 of us popped in for a quick lunch. I had the plat de jour which was veal and came with french beans and chips. My veal came quickly but was cold (south of luke warm)... More

We're frequent visitors to 1550 and always make a point of having dinner in Le Caveau. Christian, the owner is great host taking a personal interest in all his guests an attitude that is mirrored in all of his staff. The food and ambience are excellent. Well worth a trip down the mountain if you aren't staying in 1550. The... More

Very good food and very romantic atmosphere especially if you seat close to the fireplace. Not that expensive. Good Vine selection with absolutely different price ranges. I would come back next time

Having visited this place last year, we had no hesitation in returning last night. This a really fun restaurant for adults and kids - with steak presented hanging from the ceiling, meat cooked on hot rocks, fondue and all sorts of other unusual restaurant ways of presenting food. And the food is great (although snails were small). Good wine list... More

I've eaten here with family and friends on numerous occasions. The menu has many local and regional dishes which are well worth trying. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with a lovely atmosphere and fantastic service. For Courchevel the prices are reasonable, what more could you ask for on a family night out?
