Lovely lunch

We visted Bistrot du Praz on the final day of a recent skiing holiday in Courchevel for lunch. We had been for lunch and dinner last March on a previous ski trip and throughly enjoyed the lunch and dinner experiences. We had heard that it had changed hands since our previous visit, however am... read more

As a regular visitor to a rather iconic bistro we were thrilled to find it has just got better. We met the new owner/chef today after a delicious skier lunch. Cannot recommend more highly. The quality of cooking superb, service great, can't wait to go back

We ate at Le Bistro last night with French friends who highly recommended the new ownership. We have eaten at BLP many times over the years but this was our best experience. The service was efficient and friendly; the atmosphere was convivial; and the food was delicious. I can't wait to go back to have my pork main-course again!

This restaurant has been a long time favourite of ours so we were a bit nervous when we heard there was a new owner, but after our visit this evening I have no hesitation in recommending it. The staff were very pleasant & attentive; the menu was interesting; the food was good; and (for Courchevel) the prices were very reasonable!... More

All change at the Bistrot du Praz. A long time favourite of ours and many; the Bistro had become a little tired of late, still loved, but you always felt that its best days were 'in the book'. Last month, Antoine Fouchard bought this little gem and has given it a significant polish. The menu is fresh, full of inspiration... More

The only reason why I did not rate this place higher is that an other restaurant 2 blocks away was awesome! But back to Le Bistro. Very nice service (they even speak English there :) ) good prepared food, I did not quite get the soup (still don't what it was), but the rest was very good. The menu du... More

We visited this restaurant for both lunch and dinner on a recent ski trip to Courchevel. It is a good option for lunch and easily accessible if you ski down the black or red runs back into Le Praz. The less confident skiers in our group were able to ski to the top of the Le Praz bubble lift and... More

Visited this restaurant on our second night as previously noted of Michelin quality. We ordered the fixed menu and a scallop risotto. The wine was a good choice but the food was a let down ,except the quinelle of which I had to understand what it was with the aid of google as the waitress failed to speak well in... More

We've been here several times now & the food is brilliant. We always chose off the menu du marché as there are 3 choices of each course which is brilliant. The portion sizes are great, always full after. Only negative is theres no house wine available by carafe & wine is expensive. Rest of the Mel is excellent value for... More

Le Praz is a great little sect of Courchevel and Le Bistrot du Praz is a little gem within it. Of all the vin-chaud we drank thru the week to warm ourselves after a long day of skiing - this was my favorite. Not quite as heavy tasting as other vin-chauds, with hints of vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon - it... More
