I think you have to appreciate some different dining experiences in life and this is one. Expensive yes, surprising no. Sitting on the slopes with magnificent views great freshly cooked food and plenty of it, professional friendly service and great atmosphere in the restaurant itself. Seeing the meat cooked at the open fire was wonderful. Obviously a venue for groups... More

Cannot fault the location, the restaurant interior (typical mountain with timber everywhere), views to die for and great food. The Spanish owner of the restaurant is very charming and makes you feel very welcome. The 'but' is the waiting staff - one looking after our table spoke perfect English and was clearly excellent at his job, sadly our food and... More

Went here in mid-December with 2 friends as we couldn't get to many places in the Courchevel valley due to lack of snow. The place is in an amazing location with fabulous views. The food is excellent - initially I thought €28 for a chicken kebab sounded like a lot of money, however, it was amazing and could have fed... More

It's not cheap, but it's worth it. The food comes in great portions. Well cooked sides with it too. Shame they only have the one beer but you can't be too fussy when you're up a mountain. It was such a clear day you could see right over to the Altiport, it was awesome. I had the lamb which was... More

We had a fabulous meal here with friends on New Year's Day. The dining room has spectacular views, a fabulous central fire where they cook steaks and chops for the grill menu and a charismatic sommelier who will help find something delicious. It's not cheap but for a blow out lunch I couldn't recommend it more highly.

A keenly awaited favourite venue on our annual ski trip has I'm afraid fallen from grace. First they now insist on 2 sittings and the 2.30 sitting is too late to have a leisurely lunch and leave in time to catch the last lift back to Meribel. 1230 is too early for lunch. Portions significantly reduced from last year and... More

Prices on the mountain tend to be ridiculously inflated - think 9 Euro for a coffee. We brought packed lunches from our hotel restaurant, and had them with I think 7 Euro coffees at this place - well worth it with the view. There's also a panini shop here.

Great high class restaurant with very friendly service from Marta the Spanish owner. Not cheap but one of the best on the mountain in Courchevel 1850.

We have been spending our yearly family ski holiday in the 3 Vallées for the last 10 years and each year make it a must to lunch at the Soucoupe on the piste in Courcheval 1850, as the view, food and service make it special. This year we found the standards have dropped in the food and the service, the... More
