Interesting restaurant tasty pizza

Interesting subterranean restaurant. Had a good meal here on first night in chamonix. Great wood fired pizza and tartiflette. Not that obvious from the street and a bit less hustle and bustle than the street level cafes and restaurants.

We wanted to try this restaurant because it is located in an old cellar. Very nice stoned, arched ceiling and stained glass partitions made the restaurant cozy. We ordered pizzas (vegetarian and special). We had to wait for 50 minutes to get our food. Pizza crust was nice because pizzas were cooked in a wood oven but topping was average... More

We went here after a recommendation, and I am glad we did. Down some steep steps, off the main street in Cham Cham, we arrived reasonably early in the evening without a reservation, yet it was busy even before 7! The menu is a little restrictive for small kids, however, if pizza is your thing, then get yourself here! We... More

There are many good pizza places in Chamonix but this is one of the best with a rare real charcoal oven. The busy staff are friendly and the place could not be more central. Good veggie options.

Eating your dinner in an old cheese cave is a great experience and they have made the most of the location with funky stained glass windows adding character. The food was good and reasonably priced. The service was ok, there we were the only table in for a while and rather then feeling we had their full attention, we felt... More

..the service sucks. We know it's France but come on guys, Chamonix is a tourist town - you can easily do better. We love the cosy atmosphere downstairs in 'the cave' and the food is consistently good, but the service is - again even in French terms - consistently poor. We'd give you a 5* but every time we go... Great little spot underneath downtown Cham. We were the first table in on a Wednesday night and we really enjoyed our cozy conversations in the cave before the place got busy. Overall, a great find. Well-priced French comfort food alongside a Mont Blanc Blanche...Mmm.

We walked by this restaurant the first few days of our holiday, as it is not too obvious on the main Street, underneath the Chinese restaurant and you have to enter by going down a narrow staircase. However once we discovered it we went back to it, which is more than we did to the other Chamonix restaurants. The guy... More

Roaming the streets with my with and two of my adult daughters, we went from menu to menu on the Main Street of Chamonix, during the shoulder season. We reviewed the menu and decided to descend the narrow stairway. Immediately seated, We reviewed the menu, the the waiter politely encouraged us to practice out high school French.. Daughter #1 ate... More
