Lucky to get in; satifised customers walking out

We ate the 3 course lunch meal. The portion was small, but it only cost 20 EURs. The service was nice. We had a nice time there.

We were the first patrons of the evening and showed up without a reservation. The staff was impeccable with just the right level of attention. We especially loved our wine steward who was a sommelier-in-training. He made a good suggestion for wine and then kept our glasses perfectly filled so that they were never empty but also eked it out... More

The food was very acceptable but not worthy of a Michelin star. Too expensive for what it was. The staff are very good but constantly at your table so I found it too intrusive.

We went to Le Bistrot for lunch and did not regret! 20 euros for a three course meal plus small appetizers and cakes with coffee as extra was a bargain. Overall the food was great. Did I mention the handcrafted marshmallows served at the end of the meal? The tab came to around 50€/person with a glass of champagne and... More

Not worthy of a michelin star. The food we ordered was ala carte. but the same entree items that were on the larger menu. the atmosphere was cafeteria like. they let a young child play their cartoons on their ipad without headphones which disturbed any semblance of atmospher. we had fish and steak. steak was better. fancy appetizers were silly... Superior quality and preparation of food with friendly and accommodating service. Live American jazz standards in bar next door an added bonus. Appealing children's menu.

be sure to go to Bistrot even if you are not staying in the hotel. The pre fix menu offered several great selections and you could add the cheese course onto any of the menus. The lamb I chose was offered with the best risotto with shaved black truffles I have ever had in a restaurant.

Very good restaurant - the best we visited in Chamonix. Excellent menu and great wine list. Service was attentive and good. Recommend the homemade marshmellows.

Had lunch here today after eating disguting food up at the top of the mountain when skiing. Brilliant. Lovely appetizers the main course of beef was to die for and the desert of macaroons and sorbet was unbelievable. I can see how it has 2 Michelins stars. Not only this I disagree with many reviews as this same night I... More
