One of the Best Restaurants in Chamonix

This is one of the best restaurants in Chamonix. It is pricey but worth it. Everything that we ordered was excellent and the Cheese cart was amazing. The restaurant itself has a rather ordinary interior but the quality of the food and the exceptional service make up for this and it was... read more

just go! Everything is perfect. You will be nicely surprised by the food, the taste, the presentation, the service, the attention they give to you and at the end also by the bill!

A one hat Michelin restaurant, Le Bistrot is in the Boutique Hotel Le Morgane at which we were staying. We chose the 4 course degustation with matching wines which turned out to include a 5th course. The food was excellent, the wine pairing also and at this level certainly was priced in the range you would expect. Expect to pay... More

We came to Chamonix on a group tour to see the Mont Blanc on a Sunday. When we came back from Aiguille du Midi early, we had a lot of free time for lunch before departing to see the glacier. Instead of booking the tour's choice of restaurant, we decided to chose our own. Reading how great the food was... More

We ate the 3 course lunch meal. The portion was small, but it only cost 20 EURs. The service was nice. We had a nice time there.

We were the first patrons of the evening and showed up without a reservation. The staff was impeccable with just the right level of attention. We especially loved our wine steward who was a sommelier-in-training. He made a good suggestion for wine and then kept our glasses perfectly filled so that they were never empty but also eked it out... More

The food was very acceptable but not worthy of a Michelin star. Too expensive for what it was. The staff are very good but constantly at your table so I found it too intrusive.

We went to Le Bistrot for lunch and did not regret! 20 euros for a three course meal plus small appetizers and cakes with coffee as extra was a bargain. Overall the food was great. Did I mention the handcrafted marshmallows served at the end of the meal? The tab came to around 50€/person with a glass of champagne and... More

Not worthy of a michelin star. The food we ordered was ala carte. but the same entree items that were on the larger menu. the atmosphere was cafeteria like. they let a young child play their cartoons on their ipad without headphones which disturbed any semblance of atmospher. we had fish and steak. steak was better. fancy appetizers were silly... Superior quality and preparation of food with friendly and accommodating service. Live American jazz standards in bar next door an added bonus. Appealing children's menu.
