Friendly attentive relaxed dinner with good food thrown in!

5 of us dined, 3 adults 1 teenager 1 8 year old. Everyone catered to. Superb chefs tasters, great kids choices, lovely light fish, Iberian pork, monkfish. All tasty. The waitress was kind and noticed my daughter was sneaking to the wine bucket for ice cubes and brought her a glass of them... read more

We were group of seven (4 adults and 3 kids) and we were refused to get in, with the reason that the restaurant is full, however when looking inside in was more that half empty, and not all tables had reserved signs. I suspect they did not want 3 kids interrupting their quite environment.

The quality and quantity of the cuisine were almost parfait. The service was also very delicate. We were very satisfied. What was a little disappointing was Tenpura of the shrimps. We think that the oil of frying them was too old. They were greasy. But this cuisine was one of the wonderful memories in Chamonix.

we stayed at hotel La Morgane, and ate dinner at La Bistrot on our last night. we took the "55Euro Formula" which included 3 plates plus dessert, and also the "wine Formula" which included 4 glasses of different wines at 30Euro per person.. it was a really great dinner, with the dishes just getting tastier as the dinner went on,... This is one of the best restaurants in Chamonix. It is pricey but worth it. Everything that we ordered was excellent and the Cheese cart was amazing. The restaurant itself has a rather ordinary interior but the quality of the food and the exceptional service make up for this and it was refreshing not having to dine in an overly... More

A one hat Michelin restaurant, Le Bistrot is in the Boutique Hotel Le Morgane at which we were staying. We chose the 4 course degustation with matching wines which turned out to include a 5th course. The food was excellent, the wine pairing also and at this level certainly was priced in the range you would expect. Expect to pay... More

We came to Chamonix on a group tour to see the Mont Blanc on a Sunday. When we came back from Aiguille du Midi early, we had a lot of free time for lunch before departing to see the glacier. Instead of booking the tour's choice of restaurant, we decided to chose our own. Reading how great the food was... More

We ate the 3 course lunch meal. The portion was small, but it only cost 20 EURs. The service was nice. We had a nice time there.
