We had a lovely dinner at Le Bistrot based on a recommendation from a friend. It was a beautiful modern, French style meal. It was a little pricey but we were fed an amazing meal with every course in between. The favourite was a cheese trolley to die for- amazing!

We came here for the New years dinner which was multiple courses. Wonderful friendly service, very friendly, simple modern setting. Great timing with the food. They used expensive ingredients (lobster, foie gras, truffles) which I'm assuming was for New Years eve but the menu wasn't particularly creative. Nice marinated salmon to start, delicious scallops done two ways. Excellent fish dish.... More

this is a michelin starred restaurant but are very relaxed in their dress code . this is good for tourists as not all of them choose to carry formal clothes . food is excellent so is the choice of wines . junior staff require a lot of training but the manager was quite good with his recommendations .

We managed to sneak a couples night out for diner whilst grandma looked after the kids. We thought we would treat ourselves to some "Michelin Star" food and service. Whilst the food and wine was ok, it was pretty expensive for what is was. I have eaten in far better Michelin and non Michelin starred restaurants than this, generally pretty... More

We had good memories of our multiple visites of 2 years ago, but the dinner on Silvesterabend was not great. The fixed menu was heavy, loaded with goose liver, and the staff was pressed and did not bother to make the evening special. Food was technically good; the Cantemerle 2008 was served too cold. Confusing was that the reservation of... More

Plenty of words can describe a wonderful dinner but I will make it short. Excellent staff, especially Laurent, excellent food, excellent place. Highly recommend it!

We had dinner at Le Bistrot our first day in Chamonix, it was great! The veal was incredible and my husband loved the fish. What a way to start our vacation! The service was good and the wine pairing local. I highly recommend it for those who want refine cuisine in the mountains. There is a catch, it does not... More

We (two couples) visited the restaurant yesterday evening! The abuse bouche and the entrees (salmon and scallops) were not of the absolute standard. The presentation of each dish was wonderful, but the flavor was not adequate for a 1 star michelin restaurant. The service was ok: the waiters were polite and smiley, but presented each course to us very quickly,... More

As we were staying at Le Morgane Hotel, we decided to try the restaurant downstairs. We were super pleased: from when try too the reservation to when we arrived at the table, from the kindness and professionalism of the maitre d' to the attentive service of the rest of the staff. I have probably had one of the best duck... More

Excellent Michelin star quality! Amuse-bouche, starter, main, desert/cheese and other little tasters such as home made little cakes - all that for only 20 euros if you opt to go there for lunch. This is absolutely amazing as you get more expensive and no where near as good (!!) in many local pubs, cafes and apres-skis. The only thing I... More
