This café style restaurant is just off the main drag in Chamonix, but spot on quality; authentic Japanese food served up by the Japanese chef and staff. A great find in a region dominated by Savoyade cuisine.

This place is well known place by Japanese community for it being so great! I live in Switzerland and have been very disappointed by a lot of fake Japanese restaurants owned by non-Japanese and I was so happy to come here and finally feel home! Nice service, nice food, good price! It was full so during high season or on... More

Visited this place 3 times when we were in Chamonix for our honeymoon. A nice japanese style experience in the middle savoyard food land is needed, and we will definitely come back. Good service and great food for a reasonable price. I'll let the women present the toilet experience....

The staff was all Japanese, which provided some trust in the quality of the food. And we were not disappointed, the raw fish was of excellent quality. No idea how they manage to get this quality so far away from the sea. The sushi rice was delicious but not as sticky as I am used to, so eating was a... More

Its a fairly basic menu with a limited amount of fish and other dishes but they are all executed very well and the service is efficient. Another place, along with Munchie, to be able to avoid the cheese/ham heart attack fest for part of your break.

As pretty much the only Japanese restaurant in Chamonix, they have a monopoly on Japanese food lovers. We have been to Satsuki 6 times and the food is good however I have tasted better value for money in many other Japanese restaurants. Alas, what to do when we love sushi, sashimi, katsu etc and have no choice!

I have spent 5 seasons in Chamonix and just love this place. In a nut shell - relaxed, great value, tasty, authentic, clean, simple, perfect service, friendly. and a good menu lunch with never ending tea for 10 euros...great.

During a 4 day stay in Chamonix we tried a lot of asian "flavoured" restaurants and this was the worst one. The edamame and other starters were really nice, but when it came to the sushi, the raw fish had a scent of (old) butter - and it didnt look too fresh. After when complained we got another sashimi which... More

After travelling Europe for 6 weeks and spending a lot of time eating pasta and pizza in Italy we both welcomed the change in food. We researched this restaurant on TA and were not disappointed. We shared chicken teriyaki and vegetable tempura. The tempura was good and had a good variety of vegetables. Teriyaki was good (not the best we... More
