In a town where everything is overpriced...this place is awesome. Super cool antique decor and a huge and tasty menu. We had a group of 8 and ordered a bunch of different stuff...it was all great. For the best value go with the three course menu...too much food to eat...so good...and great value...I think it was 20 euro!

The place is very cozy and familiar. The service is very good and the staff is very helpful and supporting when you to choose from the local menu. The portions were rich. We had Fondue Montagnarde and Créme Brûlée and the two tasted very well. The portions were rich so a three course meal would have been too much for... More

We went to La Flambee for lunch and once we entered the place, we were surprised by the decoration and restaurant style... It had so many different stuff in there, it felt like we were back in time. It was really cool. The menu was pretty extensive though we could sense that everything was cooked in the moment once ordered.... More

Stay away from their pasta dishes. Their sauce is watery and under seasoned. Curry chicken tasted funny. It sucks to pay 14 euros for a completely tasteless dish. I could make better pasta at home...

We had a lovely meal on our last night in Chamonix and we really wished we had found this earlier on in the week. Menu is fantastic with something for everyone. We had burgers on this occasion which were beautifully cooked with the typical french hache style burger, however if we had time to return, the food on the surrounding... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the (French) owners of our hotel as a place where locals enjoy dining. Both the a-la-carte and fixed price (€27) menus gave a very good selection. Home made bread with a tasty dip was a nice change from the usual sliced baguette in a basket. The serving staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.... More

La Flambee ticked all the boxes for my wife and I especially considering we were tourists, the staff gave us some great local recommendations which were delicious, beff tartare and fondue plus a great house wine. The decor is fun and dress casual. Be sure to make a recommendation as the place was packed on a Thursday.
