We stayed 4 days is Chamonix and on 3 of them we eat here for breakfast. Quiches were brilliant and cakes were delightful The best product we had was "myrtilles meringue" It was a tart full of blueberries and with meringue on top. Also a must is the coffee macaron.

Pie is more of a cafe than a restaurant and the choice may be a little limited, especially if you go later in the day. So go early to avoid missing out on the amazing home made pies, quiches, cakes, biscuits and macaroons available here. Generous portions and a friendly chatty owner made our mid morning visit even more worthwhile... More

Delicious home made pies, tarts, macaroons + an impressive choice of tea (they have coffee too, of course). I couldn't be happiness with my lunch!

I tried caramel tea and Berry tart. It was very nice and you should not miss if you come to Chamonix.

They make the most incredible cheese tarts and fresh, delicious soups. We went back several times and they were sold out of the tarts. We would have been really sad had it not left us more room to sample the beautiful and thoughtfully prepared pastries. The coffees are lovely as well! Run by a warm and gracious wife and husband... It's hard to find a good restaurant in Chamonix that serves food that is better than you can cook at home, but doesn't leave your wallet utterly depleted. Oh, and isn't all about cheese. A great place for European-Asian fusion. Excellent meat, a couple of vegetarian options. My current favourite, but you will need to book ahead.

A simple yet inviting, warm and friendly niche in which to enjoy a wonderful coffee and even better home made gastronomic morsels! The soups are divine and this place is certainly worth a visit for simplicity and good taste.

We headed here for a hearty brunch on New Year's Eve with the idea of filling up then having a day out ahead of our NYE meal. I was really really disappointed by the choice here. 2 quiches (one chicken, one veg) and a very basic continental breakfast. We all had the continental, bar one of our party who had... More

We returned to this little cafe for our daily coffees and their seriously good simple French food (soups, quiches and pastries) all made in house. The lunch menu, which includes a delicious and healthy soup and quiche was only €9. The croissants are one of the best I've tasted and the Lavazza coffee is also very good - try the... More

We love PIE for its wholesome soups and quiches, made fresh daily. In France there's an abundance of sweet treats and unhealthy food choices at high prices so it's a real treat to find a healthy homely alternative in a cute and cosy environment. Great value for money compared to any hotel or restaurant of a similar standard of environment... More
