On a cold snowy day it is wonderful to stop in here for a hot chocolate. My preference is the praliné, with an extra shot of espresso.

Found this little internet tea salon in Chamonix while waiting for skiers to return. Delicious quiche, crepes, sweets and pots of tea. Le Gouthe makes the best pastries with fresh local fruits we have ever eaten across the world. Not too sweet, well baked pastries and a good combination of sweet and sour fruits! Highly recommended for anyone who might not even like sweets!

An 'Apres Ski' alternative to a pitcher of beer / glass of vin chaud - Gouthe serves heavenly hot chocolate, coffees, cakes and crepes. My favourite is the Chococaffe (espresso shots in hot choc) - its divine!
