a wonderful change from ham and cheese sandwiches. We took out 2 suppers and 1 lunch, great salads. Reasonably priced for the area.

Worthy of its great reviews. Everything is fresh and tasty. Delicious salads, curry's and cupcakes! The homemade lemonade hits the spot on a hot Chamonix day. Great espresso macchiato too.

Excellent food made of fresh products. The chili con carne is soooo good. Super friendly staff. Delicious cup cakes.

Its difficult to find gluten free food in Chamonix unless it's an expensive restaurant but Papillion do great takeaway food for lunch or dinner, hot, or cold to heat later. It's so versatile, the menu is extensive for coeliacs, vegetarians, nut allergies and more. The staff there are native English but fluent French speakers making it easy for locals and... More

We tried this today based on TripAdvisor reviews and loved it. It's a welcome change of pace from the region's heartier dishes. The service was great and the food delicious. We will definitely return here later this week.

When you looking for the food which is different from the tourist type foods. This is the place to try. Healthy but tasty and nourishing. We ordered twice in our stay.

After seeing the excellent reviews, we visited Papillon early in our stay in Chamonix. We ordered the Tofu noodles, Chicken noodles, Chicken Coconut curry and Meatballs in tomato sauce (rice/potatoes not included and need to be ordered as a side dish). Unfortunately the meatballs had just sold out so we decided to share the other three dishes rather than order... More

First place we went to. Good food but nothing to special. Coconut chicken turned out to be green curry. No too expensive and if you like thai food worth the money. Only 3 stars for no fireworks :)

Astounding that a No.1 rated restaurant on Trip Advisor is a take-away. However, it lived up to its expectations. It is situated a walk away from the town on the main street, the menu is not vast but they actually make the food in front of you. My husband had the famous coconut curry mentioned in previous reviews - it... More

Down to earth owners, terrifically tasty food - a wonderful experience. We took the salmon and potato salad for a picnic (they recommended a terrific bottle of white wine for us as well) in Les Praz, and we strongly recommend Papillon.
