Nice healthy food! A good break from all the cheese in Chamonix. A great alternative to you standard takeaway.

Good take away food, carefully cooked. The menu is limited but what's on the menu is good. Took food from there several times and was never disappointed.

While having a day off from skiing we wandered around Chamonix and came upon Papillion just around lunch time. We ordered a vegetable curry and a special of the day which was a beaut beef casserole slow cooked in red wine & herbs and served with baby potatoes and veg. The food was beautiful and we were so hungry we... More

A great change from usual cheesy French fare. As good as any restaurant in central London. I'm not sure what the locals think, but I'd eat here every day if I could (i was only in chamonix for one week) Light, tasty and fresh - no 'cheese babies'! The staff are lovely too. Thank you

We weren't feeling well when we came across Papillon, and it simply saved us. While most foods in the area were rich and unappealing while feeling ill, the food here was clean, fresh, and delicious. The noodle soup with chicken was the best part!

We had excellent take out for dinner one night. We ordered some chicken pies, the salad of the day (actually ended up being 4 different salads, we got a little of each), and chili. Everything was excellent. We actually wished we would have found it sooner in our trip and that we would have ordered more food. If you're looking... More

The choice of eateries in the centre of town was disappointing as all offered very similar menus (pizza, crepes, burgers) catering to the tourists. Papillon, although a take away, offered variety of dishes made with care, fresh ingredients and was delicious. We ordered almost one of everything! Value for money as well. And for any Australian looking for that jar... More

We'd heard good things about this takeaway, gave it a try and haven't stopped going back since. It's a short walk out of the centre of town, but definitely worth it. The food is freshly prepared using fresh, well-selected and seasonal ingredients and it's clear that the chef takes real pride in creating authentique asian dishes with a twist of... More

This is a good quality traiteur serving fresh food from fresh ingredients, with lovely strong flavours and not too expensive. And hardly a scrap of melted cheese in sight!
