Speedy service for a lazy lunch

Tuesday lunchtime in Chamonix in May will usually be quiet. I had lunch here with a friend last week. We were there for a long catch-up so were surprised when our food order was served at lightening speed. The indoor tables were virtually empty, although there were hardier souls than us eating... read more

early afternoon and needed a light lunch to hold us until dinner. Me wife and I shared a hamburger and enjoyed a glass of wine. It was a nice day and sat outside - service was good.

Very friendly staff looked after us and made a great fuss of the baby we had with us. Drinks were quickly prepared and delivered with a smile. Not expensive and a relaxing stop from showing family around Chamonix. Highly recommended.

Just popped in for late afternoon drinks. Well looked after by friendly staff who brought snacks as well as drinks. Very friendly atmosphere and chatted to other customers quite freely. Would go there again.

I call this over priced though you would probably find all the restaurants in this price range here. Food was not exceptional but was not bad and you can go back here multiple times. The service was pretty decent though we went at a time when there were very few people around and thus dont know how will they hold... More

Have been here several times. It's a great location, especially if you can sit outside in the sun. The menu is pretty typical of chamonix but I think they do it better than the rest. Love the moules frites and the goat cheese salad. I've always thought the service was fast and good, and the servers are really friendly.

Our chalet host found this restaurant that would accommodate the 30 of us in our ski group. The waitress we had was excellent and the wide choice of food was great for the range of ages (3-69) and the quality of the food great.

Knew this was probably a tourist trap but it was convenient. I just had soup which was okay, but hubbie enjoyed a burger followed by crepes for desert and he thoroughly enjoyed both. The servings were quite large. The menu is a bit ordinary and very geared toward the tourist. Service was okay, prices okay, but for anything more than... More

This restaurant was probably the worst I have ever visited. We waited 15 min to get sitted, the guy who served us seemed unable to speak neither English nor French. He was excessively rude, not only to us but also to other visitors nearby by. The menus were thrown on the table for us ( it is not a joke),... More

We visited twice on our stay and both times they we're understaffed and unable to cope with the amount of people. The first time I thought it was because it was Boxing Day but seems the staff are always over run. The food was ok but we had much better from near by restaurants. The issue was we asked for...
