On a main square, maybe should keep walking

A quick stop for an appetizer or two and wine. On the terrace. Under a heat lamp. Winter. Service was prompt, courteous, and friendly. The mussels had probably been waiting for us. Mild stomach discomfort for one. For me, with an iron stomach, they were fine but not as tasty as they could be. Wine... read more

We enjoyed a French breakfast here on our first day in Chamonix. Poor waiter was so busy, but we enjoyed the morning here. Returned another day with others in our group for lunch. Sat upstairs and had another very busy waiter. This place is hopping! Fabulous salad with goats cheese. It was the best!

Reasonable, food, reasonable prices and reasonable service. The meal that my family and I had was basic fare, the restaurant was almost empty and lacked atmosphere.

We went as a group of 8 and for a Friday night there were plenty of tables. Attentive Service by the staff. Good selection of food on the menu. French onion soup should have been more crispy on top. Flavour though was good. Share a Raclett with other members of the group. Plenty of potatoes and good selection of meats... More

Really poor food, bad experience, wouldn't recommend. Pizza is the worst in Chamonix, shame on you guys for letting your standards drop so low.....

Very disappointed with the food. Bland, overcooked, burnt, no flavour. Pizza definitely made from frozen. Pasta was overcooked with some tomato sauce added on top which tasted just like poor passata stright from the jar. Would not recommend at all.

The service was not great and unsurprisingly the food was god awful. The soups were okay, I ordered the french onion my family the fish soup. Not the greatest but not the worst. The main courses were by far the worst I've had in recent menu. I ordered the pasta (simple tomato basil) which was so over cooked that the... More

I was here for lunch. The food is maximum average. Most of the food is not cooked in house. For example the pizza is frozen. The soup is awful. As a main course I had a half chicken which was poorly cooked. Discussing about the service... also poor. I ordered soup and main course and they brought together at the... More

I came here with 3 friends and it was quite busy but they managed to get us a table. Staff were very friendly with a good level of English. The menu was really extensive with lots of choice. The Onion Soup is delicious and very filling so if you're not too hungry this may be enough for a meal. I... More

Really good plat du jour and a lovely onion soup! Great start to our holiday. Nice old style interior and good coffee.
