I do not want to be judgmental. But I do not understand the positive reviews about this restaurant! Either they never ate Indian food before, or they were desperate like me in Chamonix for an Indian taste. By the way, My favorite cuisine is Indian, and this is the worst I had in many years. My wife and I were... More

Nothing better than spicy food after feeling cold due to Mountains tour in Chamonix. Annapurna is the only indian restaurant in Chamonix. While i have long stay in the city i ate 2 times there. We were feeling cold after having tour around so got idea to warm our body with spicy food. the food is very nice, specially the... More

The menu options were very similar to any menu in a UK Indian Restaurant. The food was well cooked and excellent value for money. We didn't linger, however, as the drinks on offer were the most expensive we saw during our 4 day trip to Chamonix. 6 euros for a small bottle of Kingfisher beer is way over the top.... More

...but we weren't at home, so it was ok! We are not putting the place down but perhaps without competition they don't try too hard with a varied menu or larger portions, yes there was the usual curries on the menu (and lots of veggie options) but side dishes were lacking. The food was tasty, service fine/slow and the premises... More

Visiting Chamonix for my birthday and came across this little restaurant. Great having something different to eat other than the usual Savoyard food. Service was good and the food was served quickly. The main woman/ manger could have been more friendly when greeting, all the other staff were really nice. Definitely will come again.

The French have not really embraced Indian food - they are still wrestling gastronomically speaking with North Africa - and embracing each other several times a day, so it is very hard to get decent Indian Food outside of Paris. It is not that easy inside Paris, either! As an addict, who has been adding value to his waist via... More

The Husband: Upon arriving we were given a table for two by the door. The restaurant is very small and as it was a cold night would of preferred to by seated away from the door, I'm sure there was more room upstairs. We ordered our drinks and some papadums to start. Unfortunately these were obviously bought from a supermarket... More

We love Indian food and this restaurant is OK. Not incredible, but definitely edible. The food was adequately spicy and we enjoyed it.

I was told about this Restaurant by my tour guide, its around 20 mins walking from the train station, I had ordered Tandoori Chicken with Naan. The chicken was just ok, it had more of fat rather than chicken, but the Naan was good. Over here the chicken is Halal but the Lamb/Mutton is not Halal. The staff was friendly... More
