Popped in for a quick breakfast

The staff was nice enough to accommodate us for breakfast even though it was 11:00. Had great coffee and very good omelet. 'm guessing the other food it good too.

We did not expect something special because the location was not special except a nice view to Mont Blanc As starter we got Escargots and Moules , both very good As main course we got sea basses , big and so juicy we never got before

Went to Chamonix from Courmayeur on a whim... wandered through town until we came upon a place that looked welcoming and Le Caroline fit the bill. Sunny view towards Mont Blanc, a less overrun square and friendly service. Perfect spot to enjoy a salade gourmande and a glass of rosè. It was ideal.

It was Lent and we were in the mood for seafood. We found ourselves in the center of Chamonix and couldn't resist Le Carlina. It did not disappoint. The waitress was very helpful and very efficient. The food was well presented and tasty. The escargot was predictably fabulous and the scallops were perfect. The kids got spaghetti bolognese and they... More

Although i the centre of Chamonix and therefore I suspect catering largely to tourists, my husband and I were lured in by the delicious fresh seafood platters (there is a display of the seafood on offer outside) and ended up starting with a dozen oysters that were absolutely perfect - not being an oyster connoisseur, we asked the waiter to... We go every year, fantastic oysters and seafood. Would likely not eat dinner based on reviews but these french oysters are far better than those found in the states. But pricey.

We ordered the oysters to start. Although they took 35 mins to arrive, they were excellent. For man course we had the free range chicken, which was very dry, and the suckling pig, which was much better. Overall, the food was ok...but not really worth the high cost (200€ for our family of 2 adults and 4 children). To be fair,... More

Came here for a celebration meal and it didn't disappoint. The fresh sea food platters were delicious and once ordered food came fast. Good choice of wines to go with the foods too. The pear sorbet was delicious but the pear liquor with it was overpowering. Only thing that stopped it getting a 5 star was the service was a... More

We chose this place for dinner for 5 people as we wandered hungrily around Chamonix. Everything started off wonderfully, when they brought out this lovely salad to one of us! Then, no food for approximately 1.5 hours. Other people got their food, but not us! They informed us that it was the kitchen's fault, that something had broken. Eventually I... More

We arrived in town late at night and wanted something to eat. Not much was open and this restaurant looked nice and was near our hotel. My husband and I both ordered the Caesar salad with chicken. We were a bit surprised that the chicken was breaded and appeared to be fried but was most likely microwaved. My husband's was... More
