My wife, parents and I were recently in Chamonix and happened to randomly stop for dinner at Munchie. From the moment we sat down everything was amazing. The restaurant is owned and ran by some very friendly Swede's who know how to cook as well! We started with a French wine our waitress suggested that was out of this world.... More

Basically really great food in Chamonix - down the back street rue des moulin (near funky bars - Les Caves, Mix Bar, and within site of hotel Alpina). I first ate here around 10-years ago - menu looked great and on par with great city restaurants and we ordered expecting to apply the 'good for a ski resort' factor...but as... More

We had an enjoyable and interesting meal here..... Some dishes were excellent such as the duck teriyaki and I especially liked the strawberry mascarpone (although I don't think the wonton works with it!) Some other dishes were average - the cajun chicken for example was very bland and quite dry but the mango salsa was tasty. My wife's steak was... More

Visited two times. I recommend the duck teriyaki, and the bourbon milkshake for dessert. Prepare to book several days in advance if you want to have a meal here!

Amazing sushi to start - a real antidote to lots of heavy French mountain food (delicious, but repetitive). Salmon encrusted with sesame for main, with teriyaki vegetables cooked just right. Four of us ate. They only had a 9.30 table - a bit late. And the mains took a while to come, but these are really minor criticisms. We paid... More

Do not normaly do food reviews as spend soo much time in hotels that it takes something exceptional for me to get excited about food. We were served by a wonderful Swedish guy called Mike, he was very attentive and looked after as wonderful. But the food was subline a high quality and very reasonable cost I believe the owner... I went there with my wife in August and had one of the best meals of my life. The menu was fabulous and we truly couldn't decide. We both ended up choosing the scallops followed by the teriyaki duck and we were not disappointed. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. The wine was also excellent. We... More

My wife and I had a three course meal while staying in Chamonix in August for the UTMB races. The food was great. We shared beef spring rolls to start. Very meaty, very tasty. I had oriental noodles, veg and dug in a teriyaki sauce for main. The duck was pretty exquisite, as was everything else on my plate. My... More

A good option for dinner in Chamonix. The menu is varied and the food is quite tasty. We ate there a couple of nights and very much enjoyed our dinner.

Went there late on a Tuesday night and we both had the filet de boeuf (came with fries, a salad and two kinds of sauces - one a very tasty spicy bernaise). Absolutely fantastic! I am a beef lover and love to go to upscale steakhouses. The filet I had there was the best in a long time. Very good... More
