Nice raclette, great desert and good service

We opted for the raclette feu du bois, which I guess should be better than those using electric heating but it wasn't really. Still a good meal and my sons found the mousse au chocolat respectively the hot chocolate truly devine.

This was our first experience eating cheese fondue. I choose cheese fondue since this is winter special menu. And then I realized I made wrong choice. There's a minimum order for this menu, 2 person. And the 4th of us can't really finish it, it's not because we're full by it, but we're sick with the taste. Our main reason... More

Very friendly place with lovely French food and great wine. Good waiters as well. No snobbery and good choice of food as well.

Very much a savoyard restaurant, you don't go here for 'haute cujisine' . It's traditional mountain grilling: raclette, of course, but the self-serve meat grill, too. You grind salt on to the hot iron grill on the table and then put on the beef, chicken and veal to taste. Main courses at €26 and a good bottle of Rhöne at... More

Good good, great service. Ordered the duck salad for entrée which could have been a main for a small appetite. Mains were a local cheese dish (like a tartaflette), and the pork. All were delish. Everyone was happy and full! Atmosphere is quite crowded but we didn't take any notice. Was a rather large queue waiting to get in as... More

Ate once and then came back other 3 times :) The Raclette is delicious and they make it on coal not eletrical, and also the Escargots de Savoie. We ate that which was more than enough for two people. Onions soup is really good, I know it sounds strange, we finally tasted it. One night we've had some meat that... More

Just to get the negatives out of the way first. We had a table booked for 9 however we didn't get our order taken until 50 minutes later. While i understand that these things happen, when I confronted the Manager, he totally obnoxious and defensive, not really great service. Anyway, all this aside. Our actual waitress was utterly fantastic. She... More

Typical dish: slices of beef prepared on your table. Cool, but you will be smoked. Other dishes are just ok. The look of the place is better than the food.

Good food, great service and prompt! One of the better dinner experiences I have had in France during this trip. Waiters were friendly and available when needed. Local dishes were quite good and the chocolate mousse desert was fantastic! No problem getting a table at 6:30 on a Tuesday night, I walked right in.
