I've always enjoyed European food and have always been partial to a bocadillo or two and love a glass of Don Simon but this place was incredible. The food was out of this world and wouldn't have been out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. The service was great and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Will be... More

A group of 8 and none of us would go back unless things change dramatically. very little choice on the menu and the only fish only it should have been deleted. Not the price bracket advertised on trip advisor. Service would have been fine if we hadn't been pushed for more side dishes than we could eat and 8 peoples... More

As the review below, I wish to reiterate the fact that every step was taken with this group to ensure any issues were resolved at the time, including not charging for a dish that was decided to be not satisfactory, as below the dish on question was eaten by other diners on the same night without any issues and was... The restaurant was empty and perhaps we should have realised an alternative destination would've been a good idea. The fish smelt putrid and tasted bad but the waitress insisted it was good. Steak was good but the chips were soagy and the broccoli was grossly overlooked. The chichi plate mouse would have been better if they purchased it from the... More

Unfortunately I have to respond to this person which is something I wouldn't normally do. The fish in question was bought in the morning of this review, was also served to 3 other customers without any issue and was perfectly fresh. We have never and would never serve any product that was not fresh. Unfortunately it seems this customer simply... More

This restaurant been a staple for us for several years but we went there first the first this ski season and were so disappointed in the dinner. Menu has changed to a la carte which is fine but we miss the fixed menus from before where a variety to everyday menu items was offered. I consumed a very tough black... More

Thank you for your review. We decided to change the evening menu this season in response to feedback from our customers and we are disappointed that you do not appreciate the changes that we have made. Unfortunately with any change there are always some customers that prefer the previous concept. We are glad that you have enjoyed evening meals at... More

As with most places in Chamonix (seasonal unskilled waiting staff), the service was poor with our second round of drinks never showing up and an age to place our orders. The brunch menu is varied and the food reasonably good but couldn't go back. To be fair, the only waitress working was on her own but it still wasn't good... More

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to read that you do not feel that your experience was up to scratch. There are always some teething problems at the beginning of the season. We hope that you will come back and eat with us and that we can provide you with the service that you expect. More

This is a tiny, very personal restaurant. We visited as a family of four English visitors and had a really delicious meal. We were offered a free appetiser which was so tasty we asked for the recipe. Everyone else in the restaurant appeared to be French - always a good sign .

Their posted opening hours are 10-15:30. We tried to go here for breakfast and arrived after 10 and they were not yet open. On another day we tried to go for lunch at 2:30 and were told the kitchen was closed. Why post your opening hours if you aren't going to follow them?

Thank you for your review. We welcome all feedback in order to improve our service. We apologise that we opened late the day you came to eat with us. Unfortunately this was due to the late deliveries that morning and was out of our control. Our kitchen hours are posted clearly on the door and run from 10am until 2:30pm.... More

We had dinner there last night with the new steak menu and the chef knocked it out of the park. Every cut was cooked to perfection and the sides were the perfect compliment. Lots of different cuts and sides to choose from. There are two delicious fish dishes (I had the cod) and one tasty vegetarian option so there is... More

La Petite Kitchen is one of the best places for brunch in Cham, definitely recommended for great food and friendly service. The value (price ratio) is about average for Chamonix (which means that it is pretty low for anywhere else!). Expect to pay btwn 15-20 euros per person, depending on how many drinks you have. Great coffee. A firm &... More

La Petite Kitchen is a fantastic place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or just to grab a coffee or sandwich. They make awesome coffee and the pancakes with syrup are to die for! Dinner wise it's just ok, I find it quite pricey for what it is. There are other establishments in Chamonix where I prefer to go for a dinner... More
