As I discovered during the course of my meal here the restaurant is run by a brother and sister, Peter and Tamsin, and Tamsin's smile is as warm and welcoming as is Peter's version of the classic Salade Lyonnaise - and their coffee is so much better than many other establishments in Chamonix, so if you need your coffee fix,... This restaurant was tiny but this seemed to add to the atmosphere. The staff were attentive and really friendly. I thought the food was good but not as impressive as what the reviews had made out. I had the slow roasted belly pork and it wasn't as flavoursome as i would have liked. The desert and the starter were great.... More

We ate here on our first night in Chamonix. The food was impressive and the service was welcoming. It is a small restaurant but that really adds to the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and it was great to see the chef working away on the dishes - you really knew they were being prepared to order. A stand out... More

This is a great place for breakfast, however it doesn't open 'till 10am but worth it on a day off from the slopes. They also serve lunch and dinner. Very reasonable prices in the heart of Chamonix. Go for the food not the surroundings.

This was my second visit to Le Petite Kitchen. Excellent menu and high quality food - best meal I've had in Chamonix - accompanied with a good selection of wines. The staff were extremely friendly. The Australian girl was particularly charming and helpful.

The service was excellent from the moment we made a reservation by phone. We arrived at 6.50pm but they don't open until 7pm which we did not realise, they still welcomed us in and offered us a drink. The attention from the staff was excellent. They added a nice little touch by serving you a complimentary (small) taste of vegetable... More

Lovely cosy restaurant off the main centre of Chamonix ensuring it's not awash with tourists. Inventive and slightly off piste dishes all exceptionally presented. Great multilingual service and carefully selected wine list. Also open for post first lift breakfasts and lunches but we just did a dinner this time. Will be back soon though.

We went for a late lunch and weren't disappointed! The only non-positive comment I'd make is that the service was rather slow, however, the girl who served us was charming & friendly despite trying to cope with lots of customers and seemingly working alone. The food was great and the atmosphere relaxed- a great little find, hope to return again... More

I've been here many times for breafast and lunch and food is always tasty, usually big portions. They make really nice smoothies and fresh juices and in the summer the terrace is great! The only thing is that the service is always very slow. They are usually quite busy and it always takes a long time before you can order... More

We were so pleasantly surprised by this place. The server was a charming gal from Australia and the food was superb. I am 41 years old and I told them, and I meant it, that was the best breakfast of my life. The value was incredible considering what they try to serve you for breakfast at most of the local... More
