Service a bit rushed.

The food was fine, and the set menu was good value at €15. The waiter seemed to want to get us out promptly on a Wednesday evening, perhaps because we were one of the only tables there.

Chamonix is a very posh area in the French Alps that is full of restaurants. However, many of them are extremely overpriced with a limited menu. My friend and I kept wandering throughout the city center trying to find a place with good prices and a wide variety of food options. We accidentally came across Le Dru and were so... More

Been here a few times and we like it. Waiter really friendly and remembered us from before. Cheap food for Main Street in Chamonix with menus de jour for €14 , although It didn't change all week ! I had goat cheese salad, (huge and filling), steak, (cooked well and nice chips), and mousse chocolate (amazing). House wine was cheap... More

We stumbled across this place and enjoyed the experience to go back 2 nights later. We had great service, excellent service and an amazng view out over Agiulle di Midi and Mont Banc. The waiter remembered the wine we had chosen from our first visit and offered that again - a nce touch. Also a nice wine list generally. i... More

this was by far the worst meal we had in Chamonet. The others were generally excellent whilst here we felt very ripped off and hungry having been given a poor fast food Fondue. The cheese was nothing like the usual and we think they threw in to the pot whatever was left over. Inedible. The staff could not come up... More

My daughter and I were recently in Chamonix for the day and stopped in for lunch. The waitress was cordial and the food was fairly good. Upon presentation of our bill i noticed we had been charged 6 EURO for 2 pots of hot water. We also had regular cold water without a charge. When I asked the waitress about... More

We wanted to test raclette and fondue meals and this restaurant had good options. Food was great quality and we got super service!

Stopped in for dinner with a friend. We arrived a little early by Chamonix standards (6ish pm). After being barely acknowledged by the 4 staff in conversation at the door, grudgingly one led us to a table in the back. The restaurant was still empty at this point. After making a point of speaking only French at us, even after... More

I was visiting Chamonix with a friend who does not like cheese so then it becomes difficult to find a place for raclette and cheese fondue for just one person. Well Le Dru has it all and very nice restaurant with really nice staff. The atmosphere is possibly a bit too much lights but then again, you see what you... More

Soup of vegetables is good. Salad is of big size. Must try the chocolate mousse!
