Great value and right in the heart of Cham'

We dined here twice within in a few days, which says something, since there are so many restaurants to choose from in Chamonix. The service was very attentive and the Menu at €14.90 is amazing value - dried ham, steack frites, good pudding - but there are many other choices. And they serve decent... read more

....... and struggled to get a decent meal in Chamonix? A few it seems. This year we left one retraunt as we were allocated a table by a waiter, only for a client to come out of the loo and demand that he was allocated our table... the aiters then had an arguement so we were off.... And found Le... More

We ate here on our 2nd night in Chamonix. Slightly away from the main square, we felt we had the better meal here. Contrary to what some have written, we had excellent service, both from the manager (owner?) and the waiter. Very polite, they were attentive, a complete difference from our experience in the pizza restaurant on the square the... More

Good food and great atmosphere. Their vegetable soup was a good and rare vegetarian option in town. Very good people watching and excellent service.

It's difficult in chamonix to find value for money... However for 20 euros I had starter (salad: including bacon, egg, cheese) main (steak/peppercorn sauce) and desert (Apple tart) and was surprised the portions were big. Highly recommend this restaurant. The beer and wine was cheaper than a lot of places too.

Chamonix is a very posh area in the French Alps that is full of restaurants. However, many of them are extremely overpriced with a limited menu. My friend and I kept wandering throughout the city center trying to find a place with good prices and a wide variety of food options. We accidentally came across Le Dru and were so... More

Been here a few times and we like it. Waiter really friendly and remembered us from before. Cheap food for Main Street in Chamonix with menus de jour for €14 , although It didn't change all week ! I had goat cheese salad, (huge and filling), steak, (cooked well and nice chips), and mousse chocolate (amazing). House wine was cheap... More

We stumbled across this place and enjoyed the experience to go back 2 nights later. We had great service, excellent service and an amazng view out over Agiulle di Midi and Mont Banc. The waiter remembered the wine we had chosen from our first visit and offered that again - a nce touch. Also a nice wine list generally. i... More

this was by far the worst meal we had in Chamonet. The others were generally excellent whilst here we felt very ripped off and hungry having been given a poor fast food Fondue. The cheese was nothing like the usual and we think they threw in to the pot whatever was left over. Inedible. The staff could not come up... More
