Unbeatable on a sunny day

It's absurdly expensive at 60+ euros and there's a delightful whiff of fin de siecle decadence about stuffing your face as you cruise round Lake Annecy . The trip takes about 90 minutes; the views are glorious; the informative announcements about the history of the places you pass are, well... read more

The Cruise + Lunch was fantastic. Reasonably priced and the view of the old lake in Annecy was second to none. The menu is great, and the wine list and champagnes are very good. Not many foreign tourists take the lunch cruise, and I don't know why, but it is a must if you want to experience the town of... More

We have been to Annecy many times but had never been on a boat cruise so we decided to turn a cruise into an evening of food and entertainment. The evening we went the boat was not too busy so we managed to gEt a lovely window table. We decided to go with the most expensive menu at €86 per... More

all the ingredients for a perfect evening were gathered when we passed my sister-in-law's birthday dinner on "La Libellule"; beautiful and warm weather, silent lake... the food is OK, portions are enough for good eaters (!) and the birthday cake was more than sufficient for four persons. However one pays for the cruise rather than the quality of the food.... More

A great idea for a lovely night in Annecy, combining good food, great scenery and lively dancing. The food is good, not great, and the service efficient and friendly. If you're more than 4, try to get one of the round tables by the right side of the boat. You'll get great views and more private seatings.

MS Libellule is surely one of the best "dinner cruise" experiences in Europe. Of course, the views of the lake and mountains give this restaurant a great start. There cannot be a more delightful way to have a trip on the Lake. All food is prepared on board by master chefs. You have a small choice, and you can see... More

This is the second time that my husband and I have made the long journey to Annecy, in order to partake of the Gourmet Lunch Cruise on board the wonderful MV Libellule. The weather was beautiful, the ambience was perfect, the food was delicious, the service was excellent and warm, and the company (we got into conversation with a charming... More
