It's a shame that you are forced to eat something to be able to try the wines, we saw a few people choose not to bother which will affect trade in an area that if off the main tourist route anyway. Wine selection good and the nibbles were great though we didn't really want them! Interior is a bit too... More

I was lucky enough to be in France for my birthday. To celebrate we went to 20 Sur Vins for dinner. What a wonderful experience. There are probably 40/50 wines available by the glass. You can pick and choose different wines for each course. The owner/manager was extremely helpful, and spent quite a bit of time with us explaining the... More

In Annecy, it is especially in the summer crowded. This restaurant is very courteous, quiet, great fresh food, and away from the crowds. The tuna tapa was fresh and very refreshing. They give you a wine card for the wine tastings. This is a place to eat when you don't want to wait forever elbow to elbow with the other... More

It was amusing to taste tiny servings of a variety of wines. They charge by volume, so you can first get a small tasting and then buy a larger amount if you like it. The wines range from very dry to sweet dessert wines. Trying a wide variety can become expensive, but better than buying a full bottle and finding... More

We came across this place while searching in the old town for a restaurant offering something other than fondue or pizza. It's on the steep path that leads from the old town to the chateau. The restaurant is the tiniest I've ever eaten in! The food offer: delicious salads, freshly prepared. I had the nicest chevre chauds toasts ever, probably... More

I like good wines very much. It is well known that the oxygen from the air oxidizes the wine very quick, and usually the taste of the wine changes greatly during 2 hours after opening the bottle, and most dry wines becomes spoiled on next day after opening. There are special wine protectors such as vacuum cork and so on... More

Having passed by this restaurant several times (we are Annecy locals) and intrigued by the name (wordplay mixing 20 out of 20 (full marks) with vins (wines)), we decided to give it a try. We are glad we did - it was a very nice experience! You are given a card which allows you to try different wines from a... More
