Nice Typical place

L'etage is situated in the old part of Annecy city. You will enjoy traditional dishes such as Fondue, raclette....All very good at a descent price. The personnel is very kind and quick. Make sure to book in advance because it is usually quite crowded.

We went there on Friday, we were a table of 8. Service and food were great. We warly recommend this restaurant. There is a nice and cosy big room upstairs.

Even if we had no reservation, the barman offered us a table. Great service. We ordered a Tartiflette which was just wonderful and tasty. A large choice of wines. The "baba au rhum" was well presented and delicious.

I'm not sure why this restaurant has not gotten much higher ratings. Our hotel highly recommended the restaurant for its local foods, and we were not disappointed. First of all, the ambiance was very nice. We had a window table and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We started with a nice bottle of local red wine and the escargot. No complaints... More

If you can't decide what you would like, stop by L'Etage for the best selection of Rhone-Alps specialities like their chicken fermier. You know it is good when the locals pack the place. Prices are reasonable especially the plat du jour. You can dine along the pedestrian street or venture upstairs under the wood beams around a fireplace. All the... More

Our hotel recommended L'Etage when we asked for a suggestion for dinner, and we were delighted with our meal. The foie gras was terrific, scallops were delectable and the pork filet was served with a delicious sauce. For dessert, I recommend the macaron with pistachio cream. It's divine! The service was good, but there was a rather noisy crowd of... More

Had dinner outside with some local beers and wine. Was guided in all meal and drink selections by the waiters. Food was excellent. We selected local specialties. Service was great. Our first experience was so good we decided to go back the next night - and glad we did. 2nd time round was just as good. We had Cep Mushroom... More

Starting with the friendly and professional reception, reservation and seating by Cedric, he proceeded to suggest a lovely wine from the region. He has an extensive wine list, especially in the reds. We shared an escargot in a heavenly light cheese sauce, followed by the Tartiflette au Reblochon fermier. This is a mixture of pieces of potato and lardons with... More

I haven't had proper raclette since the eighties and this was just so good. Great fun to actually have the machine to heat the cheese and self serve! Staff were really helpful and attentive without being overbearing. All very good.

I shared the mushroom fondue with a friend and it was incredible. Likely the best fondue I had. We also shared the scallops that were also very good. I'd definitely recommend this place. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff was very nice as well. They are also known for their recolette (spelling?) which someone in my group ordered...it was tasty... More
