We had a lunch at this restaurant on Saturday. Nice service, good setting, good food. We will go back, definitely.

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was! We had passed it by a few times, the outside not inspiring us to go in. Also, the menu outside always led us to think it was just "another savoyard restaurant"... but that's not the case at all! Everything, from the small "amuse bouche" (a very nice creamy pea soup), to the starters... More

Les Chineurs is another great looking place with 2 or 3 levels and inside and out seating. On our way back from a walk we make reservations to sit inside as I’d like to shed my jacket and be in a little more intimate spot than the bistro effect. However, this kind of reservation means little to the French. They... More

We were delighted when we read the menu of this restaurant. It very much seemed our sort of place and we resolve to eat there. The fact that we ended up no doing so is not due to the food but the incredible off-hand attitude of the staff(owners?). Although the restaurant filled up only five tables were occupied when we... I wanted to eat a tartiflette since it was a specialty of this region. Found this cute little restaurant while walking around the old town. We had an amuse bouche, don't remember what it was, but it was this red little soup thing. Ordered a tartiflette, and an chicken escalope. Really loved the tartiflette which was served in a jar... Ok we were there on a Saturday night over a bank holiday and it was busy but the service was very very slow and not that professional.Pity because the food and house wine was very good at reasonable prices. The brullee scallop starter was amazing. so probably ok to go on a quieter night.

Entered by chance, while looking for some place to eat lunch on a Saturday. Food was delicious, service was great (and with good sense of humour!), the place is just charming. The price was also very good for such touristic location.

Though still in the crowded touristy city centre, I'm sure this restaurant gives a far better value for money ratio then most in this area. We both had superb entrees and main courses. Will definitely return.

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant a few days ago and thoroughly recommend it. It has a relaxed atmosphere, the staff are professional but friendly and the food was delicious. A delightful restaurant in a beautiful city.
