It.s just a nice friendly place recomended by our hotel Auberge Camelia. The Auberge made the reservation for us and it was open on a Sunday night

My partner and I went to Les Chineurs on our first night in Annecy and weren't disappointed. It was one of the best meals we'd had in France. It's also open on Mondays when a lot of other restaurants are closed. The highlight was receiving a complimentary amuse bouche before our meal. Delicious!

We had been traveling through the French countryside, and had a really fantastic stay in Annecy. It was surely one of our favorite cities. My husband and I had just visited "market day" and were looking for a place to have lunch. We found Les Chineurs, located in the historic section of town. Even though Annecy is a town where... More

Lovely food, beautifully presented by friendly staff. We had tried to eat at a restaurant further down the road which turned out to be fully booked (despite being empty!?) so we popped into Les Chineurs on the way back mostly because it looked so pretty. We were very glad that we did as the food was delicious, not rushed in... More

Our family of five went for dinner to this restaurant on a steamy, muggy evening in Annecy. No tables were available outside so we went inside but with air conditioning it was OK. The food (os a moelle, steak tartar, diots and crozet: local pasta and sausage) was pretty good and the service prompt and professional. Overall a good dinner.

Classy, quiet, traditional local food with creativity but not weird nor strange, very reccomandandable.

We only had one night in Annecy and found Les Chineurs on Tripadvisor before arriving. They gave a table without reservations on a cold and rainy Monday night. The stuffed chicken was great as was all the other food we say pass our table. The menu even suggests a wine pairing with each plate.

We were too tired to look around, and Les Chineurs was right down the hill from our room, so we decided to give it a try. We were really impressed - very pretty restaurant, and what I later came to realize very good versions of the local specialties. We had tartiflette, the rich, cheesy creamy potato dish, and crozets et... More

We took the full menu (entree, main, dessert). Everything was very good and portions were really big!

A decent restaurant in the beautiful old part of Annecy. So why only 3 stars? It's just too... Too many tables, food that is unnecessarily too complicated and especially trop vite. 4 courses in 40 minutes is just too fast. Yet the staff were very friendly and the food was fine and the wine is good with many good choices... More
