Had the cheese fondue and we could feel our arteries blocking but boy was it good! Friendly service and spoke English. We were even given free very potent juniper shots which hit the spot. No booking was required as it wasn't a busy period. I would recommend it.

Warm and friendly staff, traditional setting and delicious Savoyard cuisine. We would particularly recommend the house special which consists of 3 dishes - tartiflette, crozet (pasta) with mushrooms and gratin of diots (spicy sausage) served with charcuterie and mixed salad - delicious!

We stay 2 days in Annecy and we go two times. Waiters welcome you and are very friendly (not easy in France..) . Not to many dishes but everything ok, don't miss 'cheese fondue', tartare and the trio. Good choice of wines and also price is ok. To go.

I went here recently with some family and was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look like much from the outside, especially in winter, but inside is very cosy and decorated in chalet style. We were even more impressed by the food. We ordered the tartiflette and the trio Savoyard--basically 3 ramekins of baked cheesy, caramelized goodness. The salad they came with... More

We tried this restaurant at the recommendation of our host and were delighted by it. The patron was warm and welcoming and responded well to our attempts at French. He prepared a special meal for our son - who still raves about it! Tasty local fare, well presented and warm ambience all brought us back for the following two nights.... More

This restaurant was suggested to us by the owner of our accommodation as it served traditional Alsatian food and we were not disappointed. The ambience was warm and traditional with wooden interior and simple furnishing and the hosts were happy and welcoming. We dined as two couples and the service was efficient and prompt and the quality of the food... More

Table for four. We all chose differently and agreed that it was one of the best meals that we had tasted in our visits to the small restaurants in the area. Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Service with a smile and a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

After a disappointing meal the night before this was a wonderful experience. Situated in the old town, the waiter was so friendly and very happy to help us with our limited knowledge of the menu. We went with his suggestion for wine and chose the "trio" to sample a few dishes. Food was really good. Wine was excellent! This waiter... More

This restaurant always seems to be busy and has a good atmosphere. I tried the trio of local dishes and was not disappointed - they were all delicious! The waiter was helpful in showing us how to pronounce the dishes to improve our French! Wine was not too expensive. We would definitely come back!
