Excellent

This was a great find in Annecy. The cuisine is traditional with a surprising twist (like the creme brûlée aux pistaches). The service is excellent (attentive and polite without being intrusive). The decor is rustic, but at the same time elegant and stylish. We will definitely come back!

Went for lunch on day after Xmas. Reserved table for 3 at window (downstairs is better than crowded upstairs). Superb service by 2 front of house guys. Two of us had Angus burger and I can honestly say it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Asked for it to be cooked 'a point'. Frites were special... More

We had a great experience at L'Alpin. The staff was very friendly and attentive, from the reservation by phone to the final "au revoir". Although the food is a bit expensive, the quality is great. The wine prices are more than reasonable, we had a lovely Gamay from the Savoy region for €22. For a romantic dinner in the winter... More

Went to L'Alpin with my family of 4 for dinner. We ordered the Fondue, meal was just ok, and a bit overpriced. If you are challenged with French like we are, I would not recommend this restaurant. During our 4 days in Annecy, it was the only place we went where there was no English spoken. That being said they... More

I've been to Le Fréti in the past (warmly recommended and a 30 seconds walk from l'Alpin) and wanted to share the fondue experience with a friend. Unfortunately Le Fréti was full and we ended up in L'Alpin. For the Fondue experience, I should have rated it POOR, but for the overall experience I decided to rate it Average. Service... More

Go for a table outside, The inside restaurant has a bit "cheesey" alpine decor and looks a bit cheap and not authentic. The ambiance outside on The Street was very Nice though. We stopped here at this particular restaurant because The Food LOOKS Amazing. beautiful plates and Nice presentation of Food. We tried The "3 Swiss Alps" a savoy specialty,... More

I have to say that this is the worst place we have eaten at EVER. I really don't know which restaurant the other reviewers visited (that the French reviewers had a better experience does not surprise me, more about that later). We came to the restaurant (still empty) and asked for a table (3 people) - the only table they... More

We wanted a traditional meal of the Rhone Alpes area so what could be better than fondue? After polling the hotel staff we got 2 restaurant names, one was closed so our choice was easy. L'Alpin seemingly was run by a couple. Service was friendly and excellent. We enjoyed a regional charcuterie platter and a huge pot of melted regional... More

I went there for a romantic dinner. The food was good! I had no clue what I ordered, I thought it was fillet, it was a cheese pie, and it was really good!!! I recomend it!!!

I'm in Annecy from time to time and always eat here. Love the tartiflette, which I suppose is a local specialty. It's a nice and cosy place, friendly waiters.
