located on the Harbour, along the sea, this restaurant offers very good salads (and other stuff) , fresh and cheap (for such a location) . Worth trying it if you are around...

One of the few nice places on the harbour, this place was packed in a Friday night so we were glad we'd booked. The food is generally very good, the ice creams for dessert particularly so. Service was very fast if a little brusque, but then it was a very busy night. Nice atmosphere, I'm sure we'd return when next... More

This restaurant on the port was constantly full, there were people waiting to get a table, which means that it must be good, right!!!!!!! We managed to eat here twice in our stay. Chicken with the most amazing sauce, huge salads, fabulous chatty friendly staff, beautiful location, a must if you are in Toulon.

Had lunch today at La Tortue. This was the only restaurant on the port which was full. We managed to squeeze to the only empty table next to 2 delightful French ladies. We had the Formule Salade - 12 euros for La Tortue salade, dessert and cafe. We were also given the choice of a cafe gourmand. What a fantastic... More

Wonderful location at the port. Enormous portions both the salads and steaks. Octopus salad to die for. Very good value

Location at the port is attractive. It is very busy, even midweek in mid September. We found the young female staff helpful and charming. During our visit the majority of diners were ordering salad starters followed by steaks with chips. Portions were huge (some might say excessive), especially the steaks and chips. Prices were relatively modest considering portion sizes but... More

If you want to eat sensibly and have a fillet do not go to this restaurant. Good location, terrible arrogant service and their boeuf beef was as elastic as a piece of rubber or leather. When we complained head waiter told us not to take any dessert and came running with the bill. It's a pity that the head waiter... More

on a tuesday night we barely got a table at this restaurant in a line of choices along the seaside. the food is outstanding and the value is the best we've seen in france. smoked salmon salad and beef with Roquefort sauce....outstanding. service was excellent, even for as busy as they were, and they were very patient with our lack... We were 4 today to eat at this resto. "La Tartue" was fool but we were lucky to have a table without reservation. We took salads: with goat cheese, with octopus (€12) and mecsican (€9). Salad with goat cheese was included to the "Formula Salad", for €12 you have this salad(or the salad "Tartue")+desert+cafe. All salads were crazy big and... More

It was a rugby weekend and very busy, we didn't have a reservation but was willing to vacate a table by 7.30 (Game KO at 8.30 anyway) so they accomodated us, many others turned away. Great staff and very helpful with the menu. I had the duck which was excellent and my partner Prawns in a honey sauce, also very... More
