Great Lunch

Enjoyed a great lunch for party of 5, including 3 children. Great beer selection and good food. Had the salmon from the menu, very reasonable. Would have been 5 stars but I did not care for the dessert.

Extremely pleased. We were on a fancy cruise trip and took their fancy tour. We were let off at the square to pick our own place for lunch. This place had outside seating under an awning. Tour guide said it was OK. Our lunch far surpassed the fancy highly rated cuisine on the ship. It cost less than 20 Euros... More

I'd just say steer clear of the grilled chicken "Poulet Grille" ... mine was dry and hard. My husband ordered the chicken Caesar salad however and it was very very good! Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Food is billed as local Provencal fare. Guess so. We had pizza and pasta. Both were just OK. English menus available. Wait staff was OK but not overly friendly. Many other places to chose from so this place is no standout.

A 3-4 pages menu including French (local), Italian (pasta and pizza) and international dishes, the decor is minimal but clean. Food was waited a bit (we were 10 to be served) but came in big quantities and it was good. Kids menu are well thought. And they do their best to serve your specific requests. If we come back in... This is a real genuine bistrot inside the very tourist nice village of St. Remy de Provence. Smiling owners and staff attend a very attentive service. They also do their best speaking a little English, Excellent salads with all flavours of legumes Provencal. In addition excellent German beer served on perfection, Terrific very good value for money,

I am at a loss sometimes as how to rank certain restaurants. ( Say a 5 star that underperforms is a 4 and a middle of the road establishment that over performs is a 4. They do not quite seem equal.) Well this little cafe was a quick choice for 2 hungry hikers and it over performed. We walked up... More

Very nice staff and speak English. Decent menu. Cod filet with aioli was plain with no seasoning. Bull stew had some good flavors.

Just had a fabulous family lunch on the terrace. Would recommend the plat du jour (today was grilled ham) or the home-made pissaladerie (onion/anchovy tart). We had both!! Accompanied by the ratatouille - also homemade and excellent. Very reasonably priced for very high quality food. Service with a smile, fast and efficient. Cannot think of one thing that was wrong!... On our second night in St. Remy, we walked around the town and decided to try this restaurant for dinner. We were put in a booth underneath a television and there was no reason as the restaurant was empty. I ordered spaghetti and much to my surprise it was a bowl of spaghetti noodles and no meat sauce. That is... More
