Scallop Risotto is GREAT!

St. Remy has many choices. We found two that we loved, this being one. The best dish on the menu is the Risotto with Scallops. Absolutely wonderful. The place is small and focuses on outdoor seating. Get there early for dinner.

We tried this Bistrot the next to the last night we were in St. Remy. A very nice Provencal menu. Great choice for dinner.

We enjoyed the plat de jour for lunch which was chicken in a lovely cream sauce. Accompanied by a glass of rose, and sitting in the sunshine. Very nice staff and great location to watch the world go by. Would have liked to have tried dinner there but there was just not enough time and too many other restaurants that... More

Good food, nice service, solid wine list in a nice location - what more do you need from your town Bistro!

We had lunch here, as we noticed it was busy at lunchtime everyday. The locals know something! It is expensive, but the quality of the food and presentation is first class. Snails in garlic were as good as it gets. Mrs had fois gras - again superb. Main course - I had a magnificent veal chop. Mrs had a so-so... More

I have spent 10 days in St Remy eating out every night. Bistrot Decouverte is the worst experience. My advice is to avoid it and go to the other numerous restaurants on the same main road. Decouverte charges almost double for the same food and what really gets to me is the attitude. Money and profit govern customer satisfaction. They... More

The restaurant was a short walk from our hotel and was very nice with a good atmosphere and great service. Food was very good, the portions were just a bit too large and overfacing.

My wife and I were visiting St. Remy for the day and randomly chose this restaurant since it was lunchtime and we were hungry. What a nice surprise! I used my passable French to request a table and then order food for us. I was very pleased that the waiter didn't try to answer me in English and he very... More

This restaurant should most definitely be ranked higher in the list of restaurants in St. Remy. We were just walking by and decided to stop for lunch. The plat du jour was a faux filet and it was wonderful- tender ( that is a surprise as often it isn't!)and cooked exactly the way we ordered. The atmosphere is warm and... More

Right on the "main drag" in St. Remy. Sit outside and people watch. Only place where I saw escargots on the menu. Great vinaigrette on their mesclun salad that is served with everything. Was there a number of times for lunch and dinner and would highly recommend.
