Wonderful fresh food to take home

If you fancy really good fresh food which is beautifully prepared but you don't want to spend time cooking on holiday then this is the go to place. Our party of 10 had many take out meals from here during our recent stay and every one we had was delicious- vegetable lasagne, tabbouleh salad... read more

If you don't fancy cooking Pintard is the place - beautifully prepared fresh food that you can take home to create a wonderful meal or appero. A bit exxy but the quality is high enough to warrant the prices. Thanks Pintard and team

I have already reviewed this fantastic take away (restaurant food) deli on more than one occasion but having just returned home after another week in beautiful St Remy I have to let everyone know of this place. We actually bought our lunch here to take home six out of the seven days we were in St Remy. If you are... More

Being from the U.S. we have gotten accustom to a wide variety of "take out". so, yes I had a certain level of expectation and was disappointed We wanted to add some fresh, original salads to our picnic...not much to choose from. We bought a small container of a fresh bean salad and went back into the market to complete... More

We decided to follow the the rave reviews on this place and were looking for takeaway dinner for 5 adults. There were a few options but the food on offer, whilst probably fresh, looked like it had been sitting there for some time and was not overly appealing. There was a roast chicken at 17Euro per kilo. I'll leave it... More

Well we are now using this speciality gourmet deli food shop on every visit to St Remy. It is ideal for picnics, lunch or dinner at home or to take as a contribution if visiting friends at their home. It never fails to surprise me how the freshness, taste and presentation continue to exceed all expectation of even the 'best'... More

This is not a dine-in restaurant but it is real 5 star RESTAURANT with FOOD & WINE to take away for lunch, dinner or picnic etc; The food (both hot & cold) is all fresh, home made and equal to anything you can buy in a good 5 star restaurant. The presentation of the food is second to none and... More

This is easily by far the best food in St Remy. It was even better than most restaurants in Paris (and they were good), and I dare say the food is better than the "fine dining" experiences I've had in Miami, NYC, San Francisco and Las Vegas. First and foremost this unfortunately is not a sit down restaurant. It's a... More

This place is amazing- we love to picnic so we were in heaven! Amazing Serrano ham, pâté-en croute of chicken & lemon, awesome baguette (maybe a new addition after the review below?) and a "samosa" of oriental guinea fowl which was really good. Other things that looked great that we may go back for tomorrow- cornichons, chickpeas, foie, stuffed tomatoes,... More

My wife and I were lucky to literally have stumbled upon this gem in the final hours of their opening and then returned a few days later . Tucked away in a charming cave-like setting, La Pintade Chapannee is a "mom and pop and son" provisions shop with an amazingly diverse inventory of charcuterie, foies, cheeses, soups, prepared meals (yes,...
