Food was excellent. Stayed at the Chateau for 4 nights and ate there twice. Both nights were great - food, wine and excellent service. Highly recommend

Mediocre food and service. Uncaring, bored service. So-so menu selections. BEAUTIFUL public areas of the chateau. Asked for our meat to be prepared rare. Served well done. Server could not have cared. He said the chef recommended it that way. Pretty much take it or leave it. Still charged full fare. Not a friendly place. Good they were closed on... More

This is our 2 nd year back at the chateau. And although my thoughts on the chateau can be read under hotels, the dinners served here are excellent. At 48 euros per person, the outdoor setting is divine and , the meal is equal to its setting. The wine list is very reasonable with an excellent choice by bottle or... More

We had dinner with 5, my wive @ 3 kids. The surroundings are really nice. Food was excellent, allthough there were some minor mistakes (we asked for tuna steak rose, but it was well done, the limoncello wasn't served chilled enough), but overall, food was really nice. Service was rather dissapointing though: all except for 1 waiter were friendly enough,... More

Exceptional service, great decor and atmosphere only to be capped off by superb food. Lovely local wines to select from as well.

We arrived at Le Chateau des Alpilles after a long overnight trip. We had made reservations in advance as we knew that would be best for a potentially travel weary group. The restaurant was a wonderful experience. The staff was attentive, helped explain the choices and tried in every way to create an enjoyable evening. Everyone very much liked their... More

Wonderful selection at any meal. Service in the morning was exceptional. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed at night. Timing was spotty but could have been the kitchen rather than service staff - may have had more orders than capacity of kitchen could handle. Setting and interaction with other guests helped to really enhance the experience.

One of our most memorable and romantic moments was dinner in front of the chateau under the stars. Fresh flowers, candle light, savoy food and first class service left us in love with each other, Provence and the Chateau. High Recommended

Fresh local food, good wine and best service. Try the Lemon soufflé. Just perfect! We had dinner there twice and it was delicious.

We were staying at Le Chateau des Alpilles and had dinner there our first night. We opted for the fixed menu which included three courses for 48 Euro pp. Our meals and service were nice. The dining room was decorated in French style with a beautiful chandelier in the center. One thing we thought strange were the white plastic chairs... More
