On the corner of the Square - we found this to be another super spot (there are lots in St Remy) where you can just order a glass of rose or a coffee, and enjoy passing time chatting and people watching. Very pleasant staff.

Although I liked my Duck, my husband did not care for his Daube and we left feeling like this was just a fare meal.

The menu choices were limited unless you like raw meat and raw fish. The service was slow and the food was average - not up to French standards. Also, the house wine seemed to be watered down. It had little of the flavor we expect in Europe. So far this was our worst meal in 3 weeks in Europe.

We had the plat du jour which was a beautiful simple dish of rabbit in mustard sauce with polenta, tomato Provencal and olives. It was delicious, plentiful and beautifully presented. The local rose was excellent too. We sat outside on the terrace and the service was great. Including a coffee, the dish was 10.60 euros each, wine 6.10 euros. What... More

We have just eaten here for the second time in 4 days. We ordered the same thing again as it was so good the first time. Can't go past a salad and an omelette, food was lovely, service was good and it wasn't overpriced. Great location, opposite the square.

The food was good and so is the scene as the place is right across Place de la Republique. We both had salads and beer and really enjoyed ourselves.

If you want to go to a French restaurant but be able to have food that you recognize and that is admissible for less adventurous tastes, this one will be perfect for you. A little pricey (90 Euros for two people including appetizer, main course, wine and tip) but not bad for a tourist area. We had the beef kebabs... More

My husband and father in law stopped by for a bierre one balmy June afternoon. The waitress was rude and surly and very unwelcome! A few days later, during the Wednesday market, we were admiring a motorcycle parked across the street. Out came our "favorite" waitress to scold us "not to touch." ( we weren't!) Too many other nice establishments... More

Good food in great location. The prix fixe lunch was PERFECT! We had a great table with a view and enjoyed conversations with all around us. The service was prompt and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant while in St Remy

Market day, very hot, tired legs, parched - might have given five stars to any place that could serve a carafe of water! La Brasserie is on a busy corner right in the thick of things on market day and tables were hard to come by. Service was good though, I think the beer was probably life saving and the... More
