The service, atmosphere, presentation were all perfect, which is to be expected for an 88 euro prix fixed meal in a One Star (former- the old chef left or something) Michelin gastronomique restaurant. The lacking thing is that element of taste, the flavor you can not account for in so small an amount of food, the OMG factor of each... More

I recently had the opportunity to eat twice in the gastro restaurant at Vallon de Valrugues and both were outstanding. The service is very attentive and friendly. Locals from St Remy patronize the place mid week which confirms the quality of the place. They use mostly local products. Some dishes might be adventurous but very well done. The menu at... More

We visited for lunch on a rainy day in Provence. We had read the reviews and thought this would be a good place to shelter with some great Provençal food until the storm passed. We asked to sit in the bistro but were taken to the main restaurant and given the bistro menu. There were 3-4 other occupied tables and... More

We have eaten at the Marc de Passario's fine restaurant many times. The food is excellent, imaginative and beautifully presented. The service is slow (had to get up twice to reach the wine bottle 5 meters away which was closer than the wine waiter got t o us) and it took nearly three hours for three (very good) courses on... Some of the best food we have eaten in France, well presented and with impeccable service. It is the same chef as in the hotel's fine dining restaurant.

There seems to be a bit of confusion in these reviews. I have eaten here a few times as our shared ownership home is across the street. The bar (many photos of Steve McQueen) is initimate and friendly with great vesper martinis at E15 (the tapanade breads were fresh once and stale once). The bistro offers more relaxed fare with... Requested service by the pool three times, went inside to the bar and left our order. Still did not receive our drink order. Young bar staff member explaining he was too young to make the cocktails??
