Possibly one of the best cups of tea I've ever had. And that's coming from a Brit! A pot of white china tea, with instructions from the owner on how long to steep the leaves for, plus a slice of apricot tart complimented a perfect afternoon pit-stop in this cozy tea-room full of character.

When you've had enough of "croissant" this and "pain" that, stop here for some tea and toast - a nice little terrace, friendly staff and more different types of tea than you can wave a teabag at.

From the name of this place I assumed that it would have an English atmosphere, but it doesn't - it's completely French. They sell quite a lot of French books. Didn't see any English books, but they may have some. The tea and cake were fine. The service was good.

A lovely little salon de thé, complete with a tiny bookshop. I didn't try any of the food, though saw some nice looking little plates - but it's an agreeable terrace on which to sit and read, with a good range of teas.

Nice bookshop and tearoom. You can drink your tea or infusion and read books from shop. Cozy atmosphere.

We stumbled across this little cafe/bookshop whilst exploring this side of the port. We stopped off to sit in the sunshine with two very generous and tasty pots of tea. Welcoming and friendly staff, with a nice large seating area on a quiet street at the front. Only a short walk from Le Vieux Port.

Having lived in Marseille for a few months I ventured to this little tea shop below the Panier area of the city simply because its name suggested I'd like it (I'm a big fan of tea!) I was right. It's small but full of character, the choice of teas is the broadest and most unusual I've seen and the wooden,... More

Surprised this hasn't been listed earlier. We discovered it from a blog entry trying to improve on a New York Times list advising on how to make the best of 36 hours in Marseille. Two or three hundred metres up behind the Mairie on the edge of the Panier this lovely shop is laid back with a ground floor bookshop,... More
