Food was really good, service is very good. Sitting outside with view of vibrant Vieux port in front and watching the World Cup match together was fun. Had a real good time.

It is a very nice and cozy restaurant. The food was very good. Staff couldn´t talk English or German but as we had a guy with us that speaks fluent French we were ok.

so our waitress may have started a bit surly at our broken french, but she warmed up eventually and served us well. The food was yummy, surprisingly good. We went for the 17 Euro three course meal, and at that price didnt expect too much. We were happily surprised by generous portions of tasty, well presented, well cooked food. The... More

My husband and I walked around the old port looking for a nice, simple place to eat - not too expensive or fancy. We walked by this place once and ended up going back. It was a cool evening, but we sat outside, as they had heaters. The server was delightful - very accommodating and helpful. We ordered a pizza... More

We came back to this restaurant several times over the course of our time in Marseille - really good prices, unfailingly good food (we sampled pasta, pizza and fish), decent house wines by the glass and one waitress in particular who never stopped smiling!

We ate here on our first night in Marseille. Our table was overlooking the port. The waitress was amazing she even spoke perfect English when she realised that my French is below par. I had the mushroom & olive pizza. My boyfriend had the carbonara. Both were excellent and dessert was just plain perfect. It was very reasonably priced given... More

Another one of my favorites in Marseille. We visited La Galiotte many times. Loved their pizzas and goat cheese salad. Our hostess, Marie, was absolutely delightful! Thank you for the wonderful meals!

We went to La Galiote as it was on the harbour and we were not looking for anywhere too fancy to eat on our first night in Marseille. The pizza's were reasonably priced (10e-13e) compared to other restaurants in that area. We waited to be seated. There was a waiter who we caught his eye, but he was too busy... More
