Delicious

Excellent bouillabaisse at an out of the way local restaurant around the corner from some fancy restaurants charging three times as much for a similar menu.

The delightful, helpful waitress advised us to share a starter - thank goodness we did, particularly as we had arrived hungry and snaffled up the delicious tapenade and bread offered. My husband's main course of bouillabaisse was superb and my sea bass was delectable. No room for pudding. It was so good that we went back the next night! The... More

Wife and I had a delicious bouillabaisse here. We did not try anything else and were both so full after it. It was very quiet that night but was perfect as the great waitress took time to talk us through the dishes and we had a chat to the chef. Definitely recommend it.

We chose this restaurant for a quiet meal away from the port area. Do as the locals and share a starter because the portions here are very generous. I had the squid entrée which a party of four locals shared! The food was delicious but we were unable to finish either main meal. The waitress speaks very good English if... More

This restaurant was recommended tours by Edouard, from whom we rented our flat. He was not wrong! We booked in advance but it was quite quiet on a Tursday evening around 1900hrs. We were welcomed by Marianne (?) the daughter of the house. A simple but nicely set out family owned restaurant..... ,not busy at this time of the evening... More

When we went to the dinner there were no customers else than us. They took care of us. The food was nice and the price was not expensive at all for France. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are very friendly. The wi if is excellent with hi speed

Situated in a quiet side street in the Catalan beach area the Abaco is an excellent restaurant. There are no printed menus - instead a fixed price €29 menu and an a la carte menu are written up on chalk boards. We were taken through each item on the menus and looked after very well from start to finish. There... More

The aromas were enough to draw us in as walked by this small restaurant at 38 rue Papety. We had Magret du Canard, stuffed with fois gras. The young waitress suggested we have it done as the French usually do - that is, medium rare. It was crispy on the outside, and simply delicious! The other dish was a generous... More

We found this empty restaurant while wondering the streets looking for food without a clue where to go. It appears to be a father/daughter run thing. The menu is on a chalkboard in French but the girls English is enough to translate if needed, choice of around 5-6 each of starters and main courses. The food was excellent, I really... More

Abaco was not busy last night. In a quiet, relaxing atmosphere I had an excellent entree a-- very light Pirelli with tomatoes and fish filets. Simple and perfect. For a main I had fresh whole sole, cooked beautifully with some fennel seeds I think, that gave a slight edge. With the fish were potatoes with assorted herbs de Provence and... More
