Description: Located on the top floor of the hotel, the restaurant Les Trois Forts...
Located on the top floor of the hotel, the restaurant Les Trois Forts boasts a truly breathtaking view stretching from Notre-Dame de la Garde as far as l'Estaque. The Chef's distinctive trademark? A predilection for unexpected mixtures of Mediterranean sea-salts and spices. On the same plate, he brings together the crisp and the moist, the hot and cold, while all the time preserving both the strength and the delicacy of flavours. In order to always bring a creative touch to his authentic cooking, he doesn't hesitate to bring new ingredients into traditional Provence dishes, offering a "haute-couture" version of the best of Mediterranean cuisine. The finest French wines, many of them vintage, rub shoulders on the wine list with a wide selection of world-renowned champagnes. The Trois Forts chef sommelier, with a rich and varied selection from which to choose, can expertly advise on which wines will best accompany a chosen dish, while naturally adapting to each and everyone's personal tastes and preferences. In the morning to gently help you wake-up after a great night's sleep, the Trois Forts restaurant invites you to discover no less than The Best Hotel Breakfast in Europe ((Prix Villégiature 2011) in a truly majestic setting.

We have been to Marseille a couple of times on cruises now and felt obligated to let everyone know that if you want a quality dining experience in Marseille it couldn't possibly get any better than this. Restaurant Les Trois Forts is located on the Top floor of the Sofitel, overlooking the beautiful harbour of Marseille. As I said this... More

You enter through Sofitel hotel and go up to the 7th floor where a magnificent view awaits you. The Vieux Port on my right, facing me Fort Saint Jean, with a blue sky. Service is very good, food delicious. I had a lobster dish which was perfect. Amuse bouche generous. Good value for money

On the 7th floor, the restaurant has a fantastic, clear view of the old port of Marseille which is breathtaking. We booked too late to get a table outside, but were right by the window in the air conditioned restaurant which was perfect. The staff were very friendly, service excellent, food beautifully presented and we had a wonderful evening overall.... More

Visited to celebrate my wedding anniversary and couldn't fault the attentive service, excellent wine choices and tastefully presented food. The restaurant is high up in the Sofitel hotel with evening views of the old port- ask for a window table. Food was nice. The fois gras was a bit bland and tasteless but the staff were very apologetic and accommodating... More

I had both dinner and lunch in this wonderful restaurant on the 9th floor of the Sofitel Marseille Vieux Port. The view from the restaurant is stunning and it has a beautiful terrace. The food and the wine were excellent and the staff are outstanding. The team was very professional but at the same time friendly.

The restaurant has a great position on the top floor overlooking both the Mediterranean and the old port and its 2000 years of activity. Grab a seat on the terrace and enjoy the friendly service and the good value weekday lunch menu- all is right with the world!

I was on a business dinner at this restaurant and it was amazing. We were sitting inside baca use the roof top terasse was fully booked. The restaurant has a great sommelier so order the wine by the glass. The food is to die for. The place is rather price, but perfect if you want something special.
