If I could only go back in time I would ask them for the recipe. We wander into this restaurant on our first day in Provence and it certainly set the bar for the rest of our trip. Great location, attentive service and great value. Ordered from the fixed price menu, everything was fresh and delicious. The rosé did not... More

The restaurant is in the middle of the village, in a very practical place! They serve very nice salads in good prices (10,50 per salad)! We tried the Luberon salad and was verey tasty! Their coffee was very good as well!

We ordered 4 formulas, ( beef, lamb and 2 salmons) fish came uncooked, we send it back, they put it in microwave, and brought back a fem min later, both meets were unchewable. They were really busy, but it is not an exuse when you sped over $100

We arrived just a few minutes before they opened and the waiter saved a table for us for when they opened. They promptly put a large container of ice along with a carafe of water on our table on an extremely hot day. Service was excellent and the formula menu was delicious as well as a great value. With so... More

It was a real disappointment on a return visit to L'Encas after a reasonable lunch the day before. We were passing through town and wanted to have a coffee and a creme brulee. On sitting down in a half empty restaurant (there was at least 20-25 seats free) we were told in a grumble that we could only stay if... More

I would give this restaurant 3-1/2 stars if that was an option, but I'll be generous and bump it up to 4. It was a drizzly day in May, and we wanted a leisurely lunch in this attractive town. There were no tables left inside, but the tables outside were well shielded from the rain and overlooked the church. As... More

Sometimes, you just gotta have a burger! And in this case, you just have to order a real meal (instead of just a coffee and an ice cream) in order to sit down at this place. Which turned out well. We had the one table that overlooks the road and the deep cliff which comes into town. For 29 euros... More

We stopped in to this cafe for lunch due to their menu options and because they were busy on an off-season day. We took the last table in the small restaurant and observed that the clientele were primarily French and appeared to be local. The service was sufficient. The waitress spoke a little English (our French is atrocious) and it... More

Standard pizza/pasta/salad lunch menu, with a different "dish of the day" The pizzas we had were crisp with generous toppings. Good coffee. good value for this part of the Luberon. Only open to cater for the lunch and coffee trade. Crisp functional interior in the renovated house of one of the last locals to live in the heart of the... More
