Atmosphere and Ambience

Visited with my brother/sister in law who have recently moved to the area for Sunday/birthday lunch. A really warm feeling about the place from decor to service. Meal and wine were top class. Very enjoyable un-rushed experience. Hightly recommended

Dining there on a summer night was so nice, with the wonderful colors of the Provence. The setting impressed much more than the food on the plates. Service was not bad. Don't order a beef steak there. My recommendation for this restaurant is to hire a very good and passionate executive chef and to pay him very well! Then, maybe,... More

Seriously - atmosphere is typically elegant and french, at the samw time laid back. Full of locals. Amazing food and wine. We loved the set menus and the accompanying choice of wines.

We were impressed by everything until the first course arrived: a bland gazpacho (inexcusable at the height of tomato season), and the rest of our lunch continued in similar vein. It's hard to explain why a place that gets everything else right can't put more gusto into its flavours. The attractive building is very well maintained and conveniently located with... More

We were taken to this restaurant by our hosts who had rented a villa nearby. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed a display of French sea salts for sale, a brand that I recognized as high end. It indicated to me that they must use the best ingredients, and indeed, the dinner didn't disappoint. As a table of 8 we... More

This is clearly a popular local restaurant but it did lack atmosphere and the staff were somewhat 'clinical'. Service was efficient but slow. the food was good without being exceptional. Seating was indoors/outdoors and the interior tables were often under bright and rather hot lights. This made it rather warm and the lights also attracted rather large flying insects to... More

The food is just terrible - tasteless and badly prepared. The prices for what you get on your plate beggar belief. One point for the design and cleanliness of the establishment. Shame the food doesn't match the appearance.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel for dinner on a night when they were not serving. We sat outside (my daughter and I) and enjoyed a delicious meal, beautifully served and very attentive staff. The atmosphere was great with a mix of families and couples. The Rose wine recommended was so lovely I bought six bottles to take away... More

On the positive: nice service. Unfortunately, the food was average and the prices pretty high... 170 euros for two people. Disappointed. Better places around for way cheaper.
