We had been to this restaurant a couple of years ago and remembered it was pretty good so we thought we would try it again. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about... although I guess I am writing home about it. :) The lighting in the semi-outdoor seating area is extremely bright so we dined inside. Rather than seating... More

a small place ( say 20 covers) tucked up a dead end alleyway but the food was good, service was fine and nice choice for an evening meal. They achieved what they aimed for.

Thank you to all to the restaurants in Gordes that could not take us last night, as a result we found a real gem, tucked away off the main square. You know when you find somewhere in a tourist destination that it is full of French only, that you are on to a good thing. 5 starters, 5 main courses,... More

Our family dined at Le Lous Blanc on our last evening in Gordes. Le Loup Blanc is tucked away off Rue de la Combe, right down from the center of Gordes. It has a charming feel and everything from the cocktails to the desserts were very good. One of the nice features of Gordes is to be able to walk... More

Can be nice restaurant, however they seem to treat non french customers different from french customers. Ordered sea bass, got extremely small fish, compared to all ftench customers around us. Being dutch guy 1.90 m with healthy, apatite, i made remark on this. Offering 3 euro discount on 200 euro bill, is not matching my disatisfaction but increasing this, money... More

On our first evening in Gordes, we decided to try Le Loup Blanc. This ended up being an excellent choice. There isn't any view, but the atmosphere is still very nice on their patio. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Enjoyed this hidden gem in the center of Gordes. Duck breast was cooked perfectly med rare with crispy skin. And Charlevoix steak, cooked rare was fantastic! Dined on the patio.

I had a lovely starter here that I probably won't be able to find again! It was a 'red fish and fennel cake' which was really a kind of warm mousse, but I loved it. The mains are quite simple - with grilled fish seeming to be a speciality - and are well cooked.

We came here with high hopes, having had mostly excellent experiences with French and Provencal cuisine in five trips to France. This restaurant disappointed us enormously. I asked (in French) for recommendations and was recommended the steak tartare and the grilled tuna. I specifically asked how the tuna was cooked and it was described "toute rose" (all pink). The steak... More

My adult daughter and I had an excellent meal here. The restaurant is small and cozy. There is also outside seating but it was far too cold for that area to be open. I had the bar de loup with fresh vegetables and my daughter had the fish soup with a small salad and the chevre cheese course. The white... More
